Something that’s helps me when throwing the darts try to throw it in an ark pattern because when the gravity pulls it down the tip will go straight towards the surface. What I’m trying to say if you throw it up more with less power most of the time it will stick
As an elementary PE teacher all the steps are useful, but specifically 1-3 for various reasons. Step 1- distance is going to be most important for the littles. Step 2- grip will be more useful for the upper grades. And Step 3- stance will be helpful for all grade levels to learn the correct form.
Step 4 is the best advice. It helped me tremendously, and the pro pac is the way to go. My two boys and I have a tournament almost every weekend, so I definitely recommend for kids and adults.
Totally agree with every instruction and step here. I play this game with my students and they say it is unreal how straight my throw is. Just find the groove and enjoy!!
I noticed you're letting your elbow do the work. I will have to remember this when i play. Seems to help get the perfect launch angle (along with releasing at the right time).
I like tip #2. I like the way you guys show the different grips . Grip plays a very important roll in the game as you can pick and choose which one you like depending on your game style. not everyone will get it right away but this is a super fun game and love playing with my friends !
Thank you for this help video! I don’t know any other company who works as hard to make sure their product is loved and enjoyed. The paper airplane tip really gave me a great visual!
I’ve been trying to get tournaments together at my local brewery and even at my own game nights so this is very useful to tell people how to play instead of me trying to explain it😂
The wrist tip and the stance tip were so good! Also, the paper airplane visual was super helpful as I am a visual learner 👍🏻 I have the golf board set and love it! Can’t wait to level up my popdarts game :)
The best tip in my opinion is the grip behind the knob, the key to the game being fun and getting better is learning to control your throws consistently and that tip is key.
Thanks for this it was really helpful to see a few different techniques to throwing them and really helped me learn how the darts work and how to better my game in the long run
The wrist tip was the most helpful for my whole family. We were all flicking our wrists. Now, our game is way more fun throwing the correct way! 😃 Thank you so much!
Great tips for hitting the table, which I guess is the goal for this version of the game, but the box said get creative with different targets, so I’ve been throwing mine like throwing knives at my glass door, and it works pretty great most of the time. Different game but I still go for the target marker and even stuck one on the target marker after only about 10 tries. 🤓
our whole family got popdarts for christmas and we love it! I’m hoping we can add a board addition to our game in the future to continue different ways to play!
Great instructions and quality video!! Kyle thank you for your tips on how to throw the darts! Sent this video to a friend of mine and it has worked!! 🎉
The hold tip is definitely a need to know with these. I've thrown darts for a long time, the wrist tip will be beneficial as well, as I'm use to snapping my wrist a little more with regular darts. Thanks for the video and great tips!
Stiff wrist is key! When I release the shot I almost spread my hand wide open like I’m flicking water off or something. Really helped eliminate most of my rotation issues.
A lot of good tips here. I figured it was like playing regular darts but seems like the mechanics are a little different. Tip #2 for me is the one that will help the most. Once you get the grip I think the rest will all come together
Still haven’t tried them and would love to be the winner to be able to try them out! I liked the tip for stance because of all things I didn’t think something like that would matter as much but definitely makes sense how he explained it
I've been obsessed with your tiktok videos for a while. I didn't even think to look you up on UA-cam. I'd love to win a set of popdarts. Been meaning to buy them for a while now
Those are great tips!!! I taught my 12 yr old son to throw them by combining tip 4 and 5 and told him to lock his wrist and then it’s a dead toss not a throw and he hits almost every dart now!!!!
Really love how how you explained every step to improve, step-by-step, the throw. Well done!
This is a great tutorial. I’ve been playing for months and immediately implemented these and increased how many I was sticking! Thank you for this!
Step #4 is my fave. Needed that tip! Thank you!
Let's go!
Great coaching and Niiicceee Jackson!!! This is helpful, thank you :)
Thanks for watching!

Holding the dart to long is a huge problem I have so this is going to help me when I throw them again. Thank you! ❤

Great points!
Didn’t know you were supposed to hold behind the middle! It’s on now!
Grip! That tip is money. Just adjusted my throw. Totally makes sense.
Me and my wife just got ours this is going to help so much thank you
I've got the gray/pink set and they're great, but I think where you hold it is gunna help out alot. 🤘🤘 popdarts rule!!!!
Step 4 is the best advice. It helped me tremendously, and the pro pac is the way to go. My two boys and I have a tournament almost every weekend, so I definitely recommend for kids and adults.
Having a stiff wrist is super beneficial! Love Popdarts and hosting tournaments.
100% tag us in some tourney pics/vids

Just find the groove and enjoy!!

All the tips would help a lot i think the best one was the grip tip i can't wait to try it 😅
Good luck!!
Never used to get them to stick consistently until I watched some lives and now I know how to be more consistent
I like tip #2. I like the way you guys show the different grips . Grip plays a very important roll in the game as you can pick and choose which one you like depending on your game style. not everyone will get it right away but this is a super fun game and love playing with my friends !
Right on
Stiff wrist, high elbow, release before arm starts downward motion are the best tips. Games fun and addictive.
Not bending the wrist but I think the grip behind the knob is important too!
Anyway, I love this color way!
Putting all the steps together is so useful. Made it so easy to learn and stick the dart fast. Thank you.
Great to hear!
I think the best tip is to keep your wrist locked. Once you have that paired with the grip/stance you are on the road to success!
Don't flip your wrist was the best tip for me. Once I got that down I started throwing tnobbers
Thank you for this help video! I don’t know any other company who works as hard to make sure their product is loved and enjoyed. The paper airplane tip really gave me a great visual!
You are so welcome! We want everyone to have as much fun as we do 🤙
This looks very challenging. Perfect family game!
The paper airplane tip was the most beneficial to me! It really helped me focus on not throwing down and start gliding it through the air.
That one was huge for me when I was getting started 💪
Excited to watch these live streams on Saturday mornings!
Love the explanation and shared this immediately with all who love playing
Holding it behind the knot is a great tip I always thought I was supposed to hold the knot itself! Can’t wait to try!
Step 4 is the best advice. It helped me tremendously.
I’ve been trying to get tournaments together at my local brewery and even at my own game nights so this is very useful to tell people how to play instead of me trying to explain it😂
The grip behind the knob and pay attention to wrist release are so helpful! 🤩
Glad it was helpful!
They were all great tips. The one that stood out to me is the grip and wrist. If you get those two down, the rest comes easy!
Very good tips!! I will definitely practice throwing my pop darts!!
Havn't tried yet, bought a set for my cousin last christmas, and he is raving about it. But i still havn´t had the pleasure.
The wrist tip and the stance tip were so good! Also, the paper airplane visual was super helpful as I am a visual learner 👍🏻 I have the golf board set and love it! Can’t wait to level up my popdarts game :)
Tip 5 is my favorite. One thing that helps me is watching the dart leave my hand. This helps to make sure it flies straight.
100% good point!
The best tip in my opinion is the grip behind the knob, the key to the game being fun and getting better is learning to control your throws consistently and that tip is key.
Thanks for sharing! 100% agree. If the game was so easy, it wouldn't be so fun and addicting to play and compete
The wrist tip was spot on. Have the American flag set and golf. Everyone at camp loves them.
This is a great video. I have been playing, but trying to teach my daughter. This breaks it down much better than I was able to!
Love that!!
Thanks for this it was really helpful to see a few different techniques to throwing them and really helped me learn how the darts work and how to better my game in the long run
i wish i had this video when i first played!
We're always looking to improve and help out PD nation!
Wrist tip is the best for sure! Took me a while to figure it out but once I did it was way easier!
Moving my hand back was BY FAR the most helpful tip for me- I guess I’m a beginner!! Thanks so much! Commenting for a pro pack. Thanks popdarts team!
You're so welcome!
The wrist tip was the most helpful for my whole family. We were all flicking our wrists. Now, our game is way more fun throwing the correct way! 😃 Thank you so much!
That is awesome!
The tip on how to grip the dart is helpful and definitely didn't think to grab it behind the middle
The grip behind center and the release point were good points.
Wrist and elbow tips are the best ones
Great to learn new ways to throw!
@@kevinpinck8499 no way, nice work!!
Thank you for the tips! Very helpful. Tip #1 was definitely the most helpful for me.
Where to hold the dart and the paper airplane method definitely helped me a lot with throwing! Best game ever!
Welp this definitely helped me!
Big W
I have always tried to throw them from the center of the dart. Can't wait to try out these tips!
Nice tips on the grip and arching the toss!
Best tip for me was grip
Ohhh the paper airplane tip is what I need to tell my friends! Solid tip! Let’s go Jaxon!
Congrats!!!You are our giveaway winner!!! Send me an email: Jack@popdartsgame.com with your shipping information!
Such a great and fun game! It has even my parents playing! Can’t wait for Saturday Morning TV and the Popdart Board giveaway!!
Holding back behind the knob I think is going to be helpful, and the wrist glide
Just got my first set! Excited to play with my students!
Love to hear that! Do you teach PE?
@@popdartsgame No, I'm a music teacher. But I like to have fun with my students!
@@MisterFentastic that's so cool. Wish I had a music teacher like you when I was in highschool 😅
Long time fan. This will help me to keep kicking butt.
our whole family got popdarts for christmas and we love it! I’m hoping we can add a board addition to our game in the future to continue different ways to play!
Great instructions and quality video!! Kyle thank you for your tips on how to throw the darts! Sent this video to a friend of mine and it has worked!! 🎉
Came for the free popdarts stayed for the video 😎
Throwing it like a paper air plane is a great tip. Next time I play with people I'll be giving them that tip to help.
The wrist tip really helped me
I like the paper airplane tip. It gives as a good guide on how to throw and release your darts!! great video guys
Great tips! Our family loves playing this game together!
would love to get hold of a set. Will defiantly remember to hold behind the knob
I love playing this with my kids!
Grip and where to hold on the dart itself! We are new to game and this is sooo helpful
The hold tip is definitely a need to know with these. I've thrown darts for a long time, the wrist tip will be beneficial as well, as I'm use to snapping my wrist a little more with regular darts.
Thanks for the video and great tips!
Glad it was helpful!

Watched! Thanks for the great tips. I’m ready to get sooo much better.
You got this!
A lot of good tips here. I figured it was like playing regular darts but seems like the mechanics are a little different. Tip #2 for me is the one that will help the most. Once you get the grip I think the rest will all come together

I like the grip and wrist as the two best tips. Don't break the wrist and hold behind the middle portion of the dart.
Guilty of that middle grip hold haha 😅going to definitely change my grip after this! Thanks!
Gripping it behind the knob has to be the best tip!
Grip tip was pretty helpful
We love popdarts! Even my 3 year old begs to play all the time! ❤️
Love my pop darts sets… good to know to take the wrist out of it!
Keeping the wrist locked is the best tip!
The paper airplane tip was super helpful 🤙
I use most, my throw has an arc in it. I found that works real good for me.
The video was very helpful. Though practice is what helps make it repeatable. Thank you
Look fwd to Saturday morning PopToons!!!
Definitely started throwing holding the middle. 🤦🏼♀️ These tips are great!
Having that stiff wrist is definitely the game changer! Best tip in my opinion!
It really is!
Thanks, Coach!
Great video and great editing! Who edited it though?
Thanks for making a tutorial video! I’m sure this video will get a lot of views over time.
I had used the higher elbow and bo wrist twist. Thanks for confirming it for me.
I've been obsessed with your tiktok videos for a while. I didn't even think to look you up on UA-cam. I'd love to win a set of popdarts. Been meaning to buy them for a while now
Looks like a great time safe game for my family and grandkids
I just brought this game to my cornhole buddy's, and now they are hooked.
Thank you for this video. I have been struggling. I am going to practice ❤❤❤
Step #2 is the most helpful for me
