Matchbox restoration Ford Zephyr 6 nr 33 diecast car

This model was manufactured by Lesney in 1963. It required recreating the original color. I repaired a plastic spring that did not fulfill its function.

I like the addition of the box. Such simple toys and you got so many hours of play out of them. I do enjoy seeing them restored they all bring back memories playing in the rocks and dirts with my friends. No sitting on our butts, we were outside rain or shine playing.

Ford Zephyr mk3 has been one of my favourite cars since I was a kid.
You got a good colour match. Ford called it Lagoon blue. Superb restoration.
