Can you remove the bottom part of the case? I want to replace it with a higher 3D printed part so it becomes a cube, have room to put a battery inside and remove the ugly connector.

Also... I notice you have the same issue as me.... Even when I re-wrote the scroller using the native M5 display code, you get random coloured LED's interfering with the message (normally at the edges). Any idea why?
The LEDDisplay Sample works if you make this change: change in LED_DisPlay.ccp line 103 // xSemaphoreTake(_xSemaphore, portMAX_DELAY); xSemaphoreTake(_xSemaphore, 100);

Your static video image shows an Atom with what looks like a high resolution screen, but those don't seem to exist. Shame to be misleading in that way.

You have unpleasant echo in your room, it sounds like the place is very big. You could use some noise absorbing panels on the ceiling.
