Hey Jeff this is just a suggestion: I think it would be cool if you did a video where you commentated over it. Like point out where you messed up or need to work on. Also what you change within the motos to find lines and get faster and maintain as you get tired. It would definitely help some lower level riders like myself pinpoint things that we need to work on as well. Great video as always 🤙🏻
The quality is better on the new mic, but the camera mic takes up more audio. The new one sounds like its tunes it all down so i prefere the old one more

Agreed, the sound it's picking up is better and "clearer". But there's some pretty aggressive digital compression happening somewhere (either in post or at the recording) adding a bunch of artifacts and funk to it. Think poor quality MP3. So if you can figure out a way to reduce the digital compression it will be much better.

Built in audio is great, the mic your using kills the dynamic range and makes it sound like garbage. Listen on a good home surround system with base and you will instantly hear the diff.
audio does not sound perfect its like filtered not natural also video quality 4k is like meeh but when i turned on 1080p that i usualy use it looks like trash dont know how its so mest up rendering frame settings or diferent quality videos in editor something not right
hey jeff, could you do an honnest review of your 2023 ktm vs the 2022 ? which you like the most and why, i have a 2020 350sxf that im super comfy on and im kinda scared to make the move to the 2024 and if its really worth 13k$ cad?
Only downfall of the X3 is the mic. We're you plugged in to the camera or did you record with a separate mic? I bought a Holly land lapel mic but have t tried it yet. The wire and receiver running to the mic port kinda sucks.
Shit I was gonna go to this track....but if a pro rider aint hitting jumps because the faces are so rutted, im good. I stand no chance and I have to work the next day. Thats unfortunate.

The engine does sound less muffled, but not really clearer. It kinda sounds like the audio has gain turned up, making it sound harsh.

Personally, I like the go pro audio better. It's not as clean sounding but you can hear the deep sound of the bike better

Built in MIC is much better.
I feel like the old audio sounds better, it sounds more like it does when you're riding without earplugs
The thing is since the audio is isolated, it does pick up the wind audio more and does make a little scratch. Besides that it sounds better.
Please come back to the older mic

They don’t normally get super rutted out, everything is still kinda fresh from the rebuild.

This bike has 44hrs on the stock piston. Typically I do a top end between 40 and 50, so I’m about due!
