I thought you would enjoy being read to tonight.
This is a wonderful, older book by one of my favorite authors, Alexandra Stoddard and it's called Gracious Living in a New World.
when teachers or librarians would read in elementary school, it was the most calming and relaxing thing. now as i’ve grown up, my absolute favorite thing is being read to! thank you for this!

@@Southernladyasmr My parents actually owned a cabin similar in the Pocono Mts in PA. We would go in the summer. It was kind of ironic the beautiful cabin you painted. I had been looking at homes there my dad wanted to retire there but my mom refused to move so he never was able to live out a life long dream. So I thought I would do it for him. I think that is why he passed away so early after retirement paying two mortgages was I am sure not the easiest but he enjoyed it for many years for vacation then Summers so that was good. It makes me happy. 😇🥹 and he was a great guy and always happy so he lived very happy well lived life.

Lindy, I loved the video and the actual story in the book. I did fall asleep but heard most of it. I probably will read the book. Great author. I I don’t think I read any of her books. We had a a library in my former home so was able to access all our books at any time. So I’m not even sure what’s there anymore because they’re all in bankers boxes packed away in storage.
But your voice is so calming. Thank you for the wonderful peaceful moments you gave me yesterday. You are great for sure the queen ASMR. 👑

That’s one of my favorite books and I was lucky enough to see a Broadway version of it a few years ago. Unfortunately, I think they would take my UA-cam channel down if I read it.
