I've found most opponents will scoop once you do it a couple times. Sometimes someone gets salty and makes me waste time but mostly they'll scoop once they know the combo.
I'm always impressed when people grind a losing game to the bitter end for that 1%-2% equity like M2G1. I just don't have the patience myself. But it looks so rewarding when it pays off. I guess that's one of the things that separate the pros from us kitchen table people.
Something to consider for your own gameplay, Luis was FAR from 1-2% in that game. All he had to do to win was draw Kiki, which was a 1/18 or something by the time it became relevant. Only the odds for Luis got higher because he had multiple draws to try to get Kiki. As long as his opponent didn’t have removal for conscripts, which they pretty clearly didn’t, he had a chance and, in fact, a pretty good one. I’d say that when you were thinking he has a 1-2% chance, he was probably closer to a 50/50 and as the turns went on, even though Luis’ health was dwindling, Luis was probably favored to win just because of how many draws he was getting.
Ancestral Vision has long since been unbanned in modern and like many other cards that were unbanned it's barely played or not played at all. Stoneforge Mystic, Jace, Bitterblossom, Bloodbraid Elf, Anstral Vision. So many cards that were unbanned way too late.
Idk about WAY too late, Vision is pretty funny but I don't think the format would have been better if those cards were legal earlier than they were. Either they would have been good and that doesn't mean the format would be more fun or they wouldn't be very played and there's basically no difference.
@@themistocles5484 Pestermite being a playable flier when you end up Twinless Twin tends to make it a much better pickup than Exarch, and from my years of watching LSV videos he plays it quite a bit more often than Exarch, which is pretty close to a Twin only card.
“Death before dishonor. I’m not drafting mono red”
Spoken like a true champ. Brought tears to my eyes.
Volc "Casts Ragavan, seems pretty strong"
@@meekrab9027 one could even enjoy Ragavan in a 5 color deck. It’s about not going full caveman 🤣
the dig a million cards deep to Kiki moment was priceless! glad I watched this one even if it was a little older :D
1:05:40 that was just the most LSV game possible, holy cow
the joy on that mans face
Shoutouts to Ashiok’s assist
Cue the Breaking Bad meme: "He can't keep getting away with it!"
For real! I was just about to comment on that kiki top deck too. 😂
1:05:47: VICTORY!!!!!
That’s what we’re here for!
Drawing Kiki was perfect justice ⚖️
HE CANT KEEP GETTING AWAY WITH IT
10:03 "The Dune novels, or novel, I think there is just one"
Weeeeeellllllll....
The only thing I dislike about twin combo is having to play them out in the client.

10:12 "I really like movies that don't explains things"
So you like how the Emperor, SOMEHOW, returned ? :P
Such a painful reminder!

@@adampilarski7083 True. But I would have given up before Kiki became an out. There was a while where there was no clear path to victory.
@@muchograndeyolatengo You are never dead until your opponent kills you. Always play to the end👍🏻
If you can win the game its not a losing game
A small WTF-moment when LSV started to hum something and it synced perfectly with the Spelunky 2's music as I was playing the game.
Fracturing Sower of Temptation is just obscene
@ 1:05:40 WOW LSV JUST WOW
He keeps getting away with it!
There is nothing more honorable than mono-red.
Casting Gitaxian Probe of JVR was oddly on flavor right now 👀
I love Julie doggers
Apparently he _can_ keep getting away with it.

Ya, stoneforge doesn't see play in like the 2nd most popular deck in the format or anything
It's always better to unban a card late than to early. If visions is unbanned to early and you have to reban it you have a lot of issues.
Anyone know which video has Caleb’s side of this draft?
Ragavan is better than Sol Ring
My wife is Gabi and I am Antonio.
What the F
you dune it :D
kkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk
Chat on screen is unwatchable
is'nt Pestermite stricktly better than Deceiver Exarch?
Exarch is harder to kill with burn spells, you’re not trying to win fairly with either, either one will win with twin, so exarch is better overall
@@themistocles5484 ok, I understand the point
@@themistocles5484 You are correct, but wanted to add that Pestermite could be better if you have Fable because thats 1 more damage per mana
If pestermite was a 2/4 I think that qualifies as strictly better
