I just received the Sunflower a few days ago. I am thrilled to see your demo as I haven't yet tried mine. Isn't it a beautiful presentation at the opening of the case. What a great gift it would make for any stove lover.
Just got the Sunflower and already have the Saturn and that little stove, the FMS116. All are excellent and I wish more compact stoves had the same cool case as the FMS116. Anything I bought from Firemaple has been a good product.
I tried going butane, back in the 80's. Before the cans would thread on, and later detach. I went with propane. I still have an old butane lantern, in it's tubular box. It took "Camping Gaz" butane bottles. They had a 1 time use, puncture spot on top of the tank. I have recently considered retro fitting the lantern to accept screw on bottles.
I'm in the Northeast so am always looking at emergency heat sources, especially dual-purpose ones. That Sunflower stove is pretty neat. Specs on the website say its 6,141 BTU/h(?). That seems a bit ambitious (a Little Buddy is

I really like the sunflower design and the pan stand on the other stove is beefer than the Jetboil one
That Star X2, looks like it was modeled after that Jet Boil stove system.
the first one looks like a very interesting little heater, could be a vehicle heatertoo

Great stoves. Look easy to use 😊😊😊😊
Good review, thanks for sharing, God bless !
Thanks for the 2fer! I might of missed it, but what about the star x2 protective cover. I assume it withstands the heat well?
Yup its really a clone of a Jetboil, it holds up great to heat.

Could you use inside house if power went out in winter. Maybe near a cracked window?
Yes just make sure you have ventilation
I think it could keep a room warm in a shtf or grid down situation. We used to use Kerosene heaters and didn't die. Lol. Love the size
Great video!
