Like the last video, these comparisons are not meant to say which performer is better, I just like making them to hear all of the different interpretations. I had to add two Lydia’s and give Elizabeth Teeter a better audio so that’s mainly why an updated version has been made
@@MysteriousGirl10 Oh believe me I’m fully aware, people are free to leave their opinions all they want as long as they’re not hateful. I’m just making it clear that I am not making this video to put actors against each other, that comment is about me, of course I’m expecting people to comment their opinions
@@broadwaylover3105 Yeah that's what I meant when I said that no one would listen. I've read through your comment sections before and some of the comments I've seen are not the nicest. It's okay to have an opinion, but not okay to be mean.
Isabella I saw live on tour and I was floored. She was spectacular. I have seen a lot of broadway and musicals for over a decade now and she was absolutely mind blowing. Her technique was perfect for this role
All of the Lydias sound amazing but my two favorites are by far Elizabeth and Sophia! Elizabeth's voice and acting are absolutely incredible and her portrayal of Lydia keeps getting better and better. Sophia's voice is what first got me into Beetlejuice and she delivers all of the raw emotion and teen angst. They're all so good!
i saw elizabeth as lydia twice, once on closing night and once a little before, and both times she recieved those same cheers for hitting the notes on "run" and "one." there's something so impactful about how she delivers it that sends chills down my spine every time!! all of these actresses sound gorgeous as well :)
I saw Bella recently in the touring show...she was spectacular. I had never heard of her before and her voice is amazing - reminiscent of Idina Menzel. She has an amazing career ahead of her.
All of them are so good; I’m obsessed with Isabella and Dana tho ☺️ Where did you find the audios of the Seoul production? I’ve been trying to find and least one since they opened and always came up empty!
My favorites have to be Soph: she’s the one who got me into the this show and I will always have a soft spot for HER lydia Bella: she has everything from everyone combined which is insane considering she’s the second youngest I luckily got to see her in LA and it’s unbelievable how outstanding she is Nev: I love her portrayal it’s amazing and her voice is so sweet (reminds me of Pres) and I miss her even though she barely left
Unpopular opinion: If Isabella was the Broadway Lydia, it probably wouldn't have closed. Elisabeth's voice wasn't right for the role at all and it wasn't helping to sell tickets.
Right? I heard a bootleg and I was like holy shit this girl has got it all. Sophia's anger and edge, Presley's vulnerability and Dana's amazing technique. She's crazy good. And ahe actually sounds like a teen unlike Elizabeth
It’s not an unpopular opinion actually. Lots of people wanted Isabella to be the Broadway Lydia and she actually auditioned for it then got offered the tour.Isabella would have been able to handle doing the part on Broadway . She can act and sing without making Lydia obnoxious.Instead the entire Broadway cast had to carry a lead through the show because she couldn’t sing or act because it would have been obvious to audiences how terrible she is . Which caused the show to close down. Hopefully this is Elizabeth’s wake up call to never do Broadway again .
@@bwolf9690 Why would you even say that? Elizabeth has great talent and she’s honestly one of my favorites. All the Lydia’s are different and unique in their own ways. Just because you don’t like it doesn’t mean she should “never do broadway again” grow up. 🤗
Can y'all stop? Do you enjoy putting others down? People like you guys (the original commenter and the 2 people who agreed with them) are the reason people are scared of putting themselves out there. If you don't have anything nice to say, why bother saying anything at all?

How much do you want to bet that no one is going to listen?

omg Isabella is so good, it seems that they did cast a good tour lydia omg
I totally agree, I was lucky enough to see the musical while she was preforming as Lydia and she did absolutely amazing!

I actually met Isabella outside of her beetle juice show and she is amazing in general
Lucky! I wanted to try and meet her after the show when I saw it but my anxiety said no.
@@MysteriousGirl10same lol, or because i was too shy 🥲. But now i have a reason to go see it again!
Watching this made me realize Eli was the only one to take a breath in between “lose” and “A mom” all the others didn’t
the korean cast sounds sooooo good!
I think I like Sophia, Presley and Isabella the most :D

Isabella is SO incredible! I've been looking up everything of her I can!
Isabelle Esler is the standout for me. She doesn’t fall off the held notes
She is INCREDIBLE

Dana & Nevada 🥰
awesome comparison video
Do you think you could do an updated Home ending comparison?

hi! i wanted to ask you if you had a link to the audio of sophia’s last performance as lydia, since you used her last dead mom in one of your videos
Sophia’s voice is so gravely and squeaky
nevada is my favorite... but I might be biased because we're friends
Wow
That audio of Sophia wasn’t the best. She was pretty flat a few times there.
Шикардесная песня, скачаю)
They are all amazing but Presley would have to be my favourite
Same
Same

Sophia and Isabella Stan, they just fit my head vision of Lydia
