Dude you really need to check out home assistant. Brings everything together. I have everything from Bluetooth toothbrush to lights in home assistant. Not as hard and geeky as you would expect.
I use Amazon Alexa to voice control my SwitchBot, have hooked up tv, fan with remote, lounge lights and aircon, I live in Bangkok so have it set to turn on aircon 3-4am everyday so I never wake up during the night hot and sweaty 😊
You can even get the button pushers to operate capacitative buttons if you stick some tin foil between the negative battery terminal and the end of the presser. You might need to set the press time for a bit longer for it to work though. :D
Not back to basics really, with there being no mention in the video for example of how to affix the bots to a variety of surfaces, which would really rather help. Also the bots for the blinds, in this video no mention of the wonderful privacy and security that this offers.
If the QuickKey runs out of battery whilst you're outside of the house you're kind of screwed right? There's a key in the lock already so you can't put one in from the outside...
So the batteries run out and you are locked out, no worries, just open manually from inside (when you are outside!)
Worst design ever , and you can't get a key in from the outside because there's already one in there
Double clutch lock and “problem” solved
its fr the dumbest shit I've ever seen😂
The lock on the outside stays the same. You can still use your existing keys. Only the bolt on the inside changes.

Cool piece of tech!

Alex please review some eufy cameras. Can't find any UK people reviewing them.
I have them on my house. They’re really good battery life lasts around 2 months.
Probably because they are not a trust worthy brand. Lookup eufy scandal
Why have you not moved onto homeassistant? Would love to see this content
Because they will not sponsor him as SwitchBot does.
ive gota get my self some of these switches !!!!

No mention of the privacy that blinds offer? Gotcha...

That is my ideal dream house setup, superb, cheers fella 👍
Does SwitchBot support local control?
What are the benefits over Zigbee?
Can I integrate SwitchBot (I assume with a hub) to Home Assistant?
Wow that blind controller is bad who wants windows with that hanging in it.
To be honest, the video doesn't do it justice! Looks a lot less obvious in person 👌🏻
Cool interesting stuff what next.
Awesome videos sorry I’m soo late
Thanks Alex and Jed.
😍
Sounds more like bulls 💩 and used just for advertisement purposes
How would it work on a light switch? You need a press higher and a press lower
In the box the switchbot gives you a piece of wire you attach to the other end of the switch so it can go from on and off mode :)
