Loved the film, loved her villain. I cannot understand why it was not a success story at the box office, kinda breaks my heart. They deserved better for such a film...
She was absolutely amazing as Rose The Hat. I had not seen her in that many movies before and here I was really transfixed by her performance. She was at least as sexy and sensual in her appearance and attitude as she was repulsive in her terms of her actions. She almost stole the show for me, and that's quite a feat considering how perfect Ewan McGregor was as Danny Torrance. Doctor Sleep is definitely in my top 5 best movies of 2019.
The movie takes place in the misogynist world of Stephen King which preys on the fears people have of women not being nurturing to children. Also, the moniker "most beautiful woman" is harped on repeatedly in a way it wouldn't have been if she were male. Also, being "sexy" is a must for female villains, since the world of the film is male-dominated. Knowing all this, her portrayal doesn't seem as "powerful", right? It shouldn't be.
I don't know why I didn't hate her character she is just so precious to be hate I don't understand why I'm so mad to that little girl for hurt her I would be happy that the witch deserve what she did but I just don't want that. This is my first time that I stand villain.
I saw this last nite and I woke up several times freaked the F out throughout the night. Pretending to be asleep during the witchy hours was extra spooky. She is amazingly wicked🙈 in this creepy film. But you got to know and watch the Shining to get it.
Like all of the movie adaptations of Stephen King books (maybe with the exception of the excellent Misery) this one too pales in comparison to the book. But...it's got the absolutely awesomely gorgeous Rebecca Ferguson looking insanely sexy with her long brown (I'm wondering what her real hair color is, knowing that she's of Irish/Scottish descent) hippie-like hair and that cool hat who is the only reason why I couldn't even look away for a second (at least whenever she was on the screen) when I was watching it.
Indeed. She was already intriguing from the start. But THAT scene -and I think anyone who saw it can guess what scene I’m talking about- made her more terrifying than my deepest darkest nightmares.
Of course she likes the horror genre: it's by far the most misogynistic of any genre other than action films (lol). I guess she's moved on from playing the 2-dimensional "hot woman who can fight but who is primarily a sex object" trope to the even more demeaning genre of horror films. But she's the Queen of Demeaning Hollywood Stereotypes for Women (any film of hers after 2015 shows this) so this is her next logical step I guess. By the way, Rose the Hat is only "powerful" insofar as it takes place within the male-dominated, misogynistic world of Stephen King. It preys on the fear people have of women who aren't nurturing to children, and constantly harps on her "most beautiful woman" moniker because she's a woman (a male villain wouldn't be called that). Female villains have to be sexy to appeal to the target male audience. Also, she was recently FRIDGED in the last MI movie, so LMAO!
Posh British accent makes women 10 times more beautiful. Just imagine her with the loud nasal accent you hear on Fox News or CNN and her beauty will not shine trough.
@@johnnydaller ... She's much hotter in that hat she used in the movie! She looked like a millionaire Manhattan hot woman dressed up in N.Y.C. (like for men the top hat)!
I. LOVE. THIS. FILM. Personally, this is now my favourite horror film EVER. And waaaaaaay better than The Shining. However, noone can beat Nicholson. I found it funny and can't help saying "Captain Pike meet Obi One Kinobe!"
I couldn't stop watching her. She was so good. Mesmerizing.
Probably the hottest villain ever. Lol
Super hot
Definitely one of them. Alison Doody in Indiana Jones too :)

It's hard to think in a prettier woman for Rose the Hat's role. I truly believe Ferguson is perfect.

She's so good you forget she's the villain. Rose needs her own movie. Couldn't take my eyes off her.
She’s so sweet but man she made that character

She looooooooooovesss the hat.

She represented absolute evil perfectly... Terrifying.

Rebecca Rocks. She'd be a gas and a giggle to hang out with.
If there is a question , what is your wish for the upcoming Mission Impossible-7 and 8 films ? just say Ilsa Faust didn't die
Just a little correction, It's: Well! Hi there! 4:01
Shed make the PERFECT Morrigan for a Dragon Age movie
Funny enough I was about to comment that she'd make a perfect Morrigan if there was ever a Darkstalkers movie!
love her
Give us the heat's rich list on UA-cam! Pleaseee.
It's a bit bad but I am bothered with how the interviewer talks.

Had no idea she had an accent.
