Lads, if you haven't done the tales of Jenny, Screech, and Violet yet you absolutely have to! More akin to Hi Ren in style than animal flow and hunger. I think you guys will love the storytelling in those ones!
I concur! Just make sure you watch them in that order... there is a full version with all of them in order.
The trilogy has a backstory with one of the characters in the title role-Screeche's tale stories.
Agreed 100%. THIS MUST BE DONE
Adding to this. Losing it (Fisher Rap Retake), Bittersweet Symphony (The Verve retake) and Genesis
This one please:
Ren - The Tale of Jenny & Screech (Full)
It's a trilogy and it' 13 min long.
I don't think there is such a thing as a bad Ren song 😁💗
There isn't, I've looked n looked
Have to agree
Facts!!
Fr. There's a couple that I might not be in the mood for in the moment, but you're right. Zero. Bad. Songs.
Never 💯
I think Loosing It is REN’s best Rap track.
I’ve listened to every song on REN’s channel, and I haven’t heard one bad song.
Losing it (Fisher Retake) isn’t his beats but Holy Sh!t he kills it! It is one of my Favs
@@Charyl.w.an.A He still remixed it through, he doesn't just rap over the original track (but I agree that it's fantastic).
@@Charyl.w.an.A. I know Loosing it isn’t REN’s tune, but in my opinion it’s his best rap.
Or two that sound the same!!
Genesis is another Ren track that delivers!
If Ren has a bad song, I’ve never heard it. I’m a metal head and COMPLETELY obsessed with this guy.
Same. My husband (a fellow metal head) recently asked why I'm playing rap 24/7 now...I told him I'm playing REN 24/7 😂 he is his own genre.
SAME!
@@IfItAintWoke-DontFixIt 60 years old metalhead here. I think it's his talent and raw energy, and the fact that Ren is a musical genious. I'm completely obsessed also. 🥰🖤🤘
@@EvilTwinOfSteveG Hi there :) This answer comes very late, is a bit lengthy and really just my guess but as someone who grew up on metal I can tell you that every metalhead who doesn't got stuck in the 80s is used to a certain amount of genre mix. When it comes to me; I mostly grew up with Visual Kei as my parents where fans and over in Japan musicians wear their influences on their sleeves and don't care about sticking to one genre even. I then became a huge fan of Black metal and the more obscure avant-garde type of bands from all over the world - and all that lead me early on to a huge appreciation for classical music and jazz. The first thing that lead _me_ to Ren therefore was his mix of poetic storytelling and theatricality - which I was accustomed to from VK - with classical compositions [most notable in Hi Ren but then you have that renaissance/wandering minstrel guitar which especially for Violet's tale is a terrible start for this sad story for me because it always leaves me grinning like a mad woman ^^'] and DRUMS [being a drummer myself that was something that instantly resonated with me]. Ren's flow is like a drum beat. I can totally see fans of Progressive and technical forms of Metal relate to and love that with Ren. And fans of Nu-Metal etc are already half way there anywhere.
But the main thing, I suppose, that draws in metal heads are the lyrics. If you exclude bands like Dir en grey and the like poetry isn't exactly the first choice of lyrical writing in metal but storytelling is [at least in many subgenres] and so is a tendency towards folklore, socially relevant topics, mental health, politics etc. And of course for fans of vocal variety in story telling a lot of metal vocalists have a variety of 'voices' as Ren does. I really think Ren pulls as much influence from metal, rock, punk and classical music as he does from Rap and HipHop and it just shows through.
And now Ren put me on to so many Rappers and Hiphop artists through his lyrics, it's like opening the door to a completely new corridor of musical expression and I'm having the best time ever exploring that part of the world :)
[so in case you have any suggestions for me, I always appreciate people leading me to knew artists/bands etc] 💚
As already mentioned... you must do The Tale of Jenny and Screech (full version) because your minds will be blown. It's a trilogy that must be watched in the correct order - hence full version. Not only are they all one shot videos but they are performed LIVE!
It's art at its finest and the storytelling is insane, so if you do pause whilst watching then please rewind 5 seconds so you don't miss anything.
I believe that it's the one that reactors get the most views on. Enjoy!
Love Music trilogy, Ocean, Humble, losing it, what you want, Fire.....his diversity is huge and he has NO bad songs in my opinion!
I took a swan dive into the Ren Rabbit Hole after hearing "Hi Ren" 3 months ago...I have not found a bad song yet lol. And this is coming from a Slipknot loving lifelong metalhead maggot lol. Ren's music is so diverse and genre-bending...I'm convinced the man can do any type of music genre, and do it beautifully. Def check out the tales- Jenny/Screech/Violet. Mind-blowing. And I also recommend "Fire" to further illustrate his chameleon -like ability. The man is a musical force of nature.
snap 😅
I have been slowly going down the Ren rabbit hole. Haven't heard a bad song yet. What You Want makes my 90's kid happy. The beat reminds me a lot of what I grew up on.
Love the homage to the beastie boys!!! 1990s makes me smile as well as power
Same. :D
Yes! “Want You Want” should be NEXT!! ❤
Haha fuck slowly i dove down the rabbit hole as quick as i could Ren is the most excited ive been about new music. since i discovered music
I don't think I've heard a bad Ren track, he has a ton of different styles too. Child of the moon is kind of an odd one but I still liked it.
I think if I had a gun to my head I would say Child of the Moon as well but it's not BAD, it's just not my style.
Thats a track you jam full blast with your buds while causing chaos on Halloween... it has its place. But still good any other day.
I love "Children of the Moon"
I see what you did there 👍 Nice😊
Children of the Moon is one of my faves! I ❤️ the ska vibes!
There are no bad Ren songs. Everyone seem to have different favorites which is just songs that hit you personally and speak to you more than others. Keep digging! So much yet to hear! Enjoying your Ren reactions!
There is not a bad song by Ren. The reason why people prefer one track over another mostly is that he produces songs that fall into different kinds of musical genres. But he masters them all, no matter if it is Rap / Hip Hop, Electro, Bardcore, Ballads (his duets with Chinchilla are next level!), Reggae, or mixing all of the above when live busking in Brighton. He just IS music.
"he is just music" never a true'r word said
Truly cannot think of one bad song Ren had done alone or in a collab
You have to do the Tales Trilogy (Jenny/Screech/Violet). Its amazing and brilliant though tragic. Make sure you watch the entire trilogy at once and really pay attention to the story details to get the twist at the end!
Animal Flow (acoustic version) he just dropped, was amazing! One take video like most of his videos after he decided that was how he wanted his vudeos to be. Im continually impressed by ecery song of Ren
I haven’t heard anything I don’t love, genesis fire and the tales are about my favourites there is sooo much more that hits different, freckled angels will emotionally destroy you especially with a little backstory
JENNY SCREECH AND VIOLET - You are missing a tear in your eye if you miss this.... There is NO BAD WORK with this lad
many of his videos are done in one take or the best of one takes, I've heard him state he likes the challenge.
Suggestions:
Tale of Jenny & Screech (Full)
Genesis
(singing) I Shot the Sheriff/Road to Zion (red suspender video)
(singing) Earned it/Man's World/Falling (with Sam Tompkins)
I’m going to agree with everyone else. There is not a bad Ren song. You still need to react to the tales. (All three at once please) and what you want. I think ya’ll will really dig the vibe of that one. (Also for context-i’m a metal girl at heart so the Ren Rabbit hole for me was very unexpected!)
Please please react to the tales of jenny and screech (and violet) soon though! Been dying to hear ya’lls take on it! ❤
In the knox interview he explaind the pig mask, it has a meaning for him but wanted to leave it open to interpretation
Guys... Since I've discovered Ren he has skyrocketed up to my top 2 favorite artists next to TooL. His flow, artistry, intelligence, soul, voice, humbleness, and willingness to lift up and bring attention to other artist he respects by asking his fans to check them out put all others to shame. Tool and Ren are the only artists that have written songs that make me cry every time I hear them... but Ren cuts sooooooo deep into my heart and soul. You have to check out "Its Alright", "Chalk Outlines" AND "How To Be Me" w/Chinchilla, "Genesis", "Meaning", "Dominos", "I Love Music 1,2 &3", "1990's", "and "I Shot the Sherrif/Road to Zion/Hip Hop" street shot w/The Big Push ... pretty much do a day for Ren until you finish like you did with Tool. He is going to blow up and its about damn time.
I was a 17y/o skater punk when tool hit the scene, even saw them live once, I always have and will love them, but I don't know every nook n cranny of their catalog or quite heard every song, so I do not consider myself a member of Tool Army.....With that out of the way, hopefully illustrating how loyal, ravenous and dedicated Tool fans are, which in turn shows that the above compliment placing Ren right after them on this mans #2 all time fav list, is quite the compliment and says a lot about Ren's talent.
Right there with you my friend....
I havn't heard a song i don't like yet , each song just gives me a new Fav .
Don't forget Ren's band, The BIg Push! Just so much talent in that band, they are freakin tight!
Chalk Outlines next! You'll see a new side to Ren that will blow you away.
Good one!
There isn't a Bad Ren Song, But all Art is Subjective, There is just varying degrees of Greatness check out his Animal Flow Acoustic Version to see his Rapping Skills in all their Glory
A bad song from Ren, you ask??
I haven't found it... 😅
They're all fire 🔥🔥🔥 in one way or the other... 😉✌️
The pig mask is explained in "Sic Boi". It's another great one by Ren. Love you guys. Hope you have a great day.
There is no bad Ren song
Fire is my fav ❣️🔥
#Ren
OMG Yes! ❤❤
@@Lynnie_14 Def my favourite, then freckled angels
#TheBigPush again, I love all song's but fav with them is Sweet little lady live acoustic version ❣️
@@Lou-xq9br Everytime I think I have an all time fave I double think it 🤔 😵💫 Ultimately, I keep going back to Penitence and Crutch. They strike a particular chord with me. I've never had such a dilemma before. I can't remember the last time - If ever, that I loved an entire catalogue of any artist 🤔 I questioned my reality - Then I reminded myself that I'm in the RENiverse now where time as we know it has no meaning 😘❤
Awesome reaction
Almost every Ren song is somebody's favourite Ren song. 😅 He does often do one takes, but not for every video.
The dance 😂 I haven’t heard a bad Ren song actually. He puts so much of himself into his music that I find it refreshing to find someone who refuses to phone it in, ever (from what I’ve seen)
Find you a bad Ren song - challenge accepted! .....OK, so I failed! 😂 Some of them take a couple of listens, but I end up thinking they're all great! Nice reaction guys. And I think Hollywood is right. I think this is Rens musical CV all in one song ✌🏻
Good morning fellows!!✌️😊🧿💙 I haven’t found a bad Ren song yet! I just keep discovering new fire tracks!!
There is no bad Ren song. And finally you made this one. I have been waiting for it. But your next must be The tale of Jenny and Screetch (the full one) Your will like it!
U guys are real homies u fucking rock keep on keeping on 💯
Smokey looked like he was in a trance. Between Ren and Tom McDonald ive started listening to more rap. So thank you trash talkers for expanding my music interests.
What! - No NF? 🥺 I highly recommend you listen to his music if you haven't already - I'm 58 and I love him. He's deep and has a beautiful voice too. 😍
Losing it is his best rap 😂😂😂
Love all Ren's music thanks for the great reaction
Oh I noticed the Black Sabbath shirt don’t for get to hear his band do War Pigs with a hibt of Rage against the Machines sprinkled in there
Hey fellas, Been wanting to hear Rappers respond to REN’s Wildfire
About time, boys! Thank you
I’ve found that whatever song I’m listening to at that moment is my favourite !! Haven’t found one I haven’t loved yet- I love that there’s something for whatever mood I’m in 😊- Losing it is a great one to get you going !
You gotta do "What you want", one of my favorite Ren songs so far... and the "Animal flow" acoustic version he did on a public bus was straight fire!
You have to watch "the tale of Jenny and screech "(full) you'll be amazed. Also, no there is no bad Ren song I've heard. There are so many varieties too.
No bad tracks he has a song for everyone and everybody from 4yrs to 60yrs
I think if Ren tried to do a bad song it would still sound as good as most other artists good songs.
A bad Ren song? You’re joking, right?
I have been going down the rabbit hole and not seen one track I didn’t like! just brilliant! Not all his tracks are in one take but most are.
Hollywood's face....exactly! 😂
So rad you're covering Ren, I just discovered his shit a couple days ago and I've been blown away, delving deep into his catalog. Dude is an unreal talent, so glad hes blowing up!
The pig represents power and authority, and is a reference to the book 'Animal Farm' 🕊️
Cheers for the video guys 😎 👌
Subscribed guys because i love your Ren reactions! Can't wait to see your take on The Jenny, Screech and Violet Trilogy!
❤ this reaction 🤘
Ahh the mythical “bad Ren song”. I have searched and searched for it and i have not found it yet.
Silent Theory(band) - Fragile Mind(song). They are a rock/metal/rap...hybrid so sorts, but all their songs are so meaningful. :)
He really is a genius. Love going down this rabbit hole with you guys!!
Haha, how you went from just rolling with the tune digging it to a big question mark is priceless!
Here for more Ren! I see you have plenty of suggestions already, so I'll just say thanks for the reaction! Oh, in case you didn't know, Ren usually pins the lyrics under his videos. It's even more impressive when you know everything he's saying!
Awesome reaction 🔥💕 i have not heard a song by Ren that i didnt love. He is truely so talented, versatile and fun. ❤
Hollywood and Smokey - another awesome react
(I’m going thru all your ren/Bpush reacts) Thank you ….. and by the way, “let us know of a bad Ren song” 🤣😂🤣😂…. Ren fans like myself that have gone thru everything we can find, are laughing right now… because there aren’t any period, some may not be different folks taste but if you appreciate and can hear music you can’t listen to any and not be impressed at the very least, and blown away time and time again
Anyways
Take care guys

There is a love music part 3 and it's the best of the trilogy. I have songs that aren't my cup of tea, bit they are still good tunes in their own right. A bit like a girl that you don't fancy, but you understand why everyone else does. And you end up sleeping with them because you ignored her.
Y'all need to read Animal Farm
The chuckles over "long length lenny" right up my street.. 🤣🤣😍
Fab reaction btw
I believe the pig is a reference to 'capitalist pig' as a symbol of Anti-capitalism.
There is no bad Ren tracks I've seen/heard yet and that 20 vids plus so far......There maybe some
genres are not for you but they are all good or great so far....cheers lads for reacting.
I think his illness made him more aware and intuned to his inner self . He could go nowhere for a long time and music kept him going . So what do you do as a person who is inmobill with strange pains and psycosis . Try to get something back from the suffering and make it your own . By taking time with music . Witch is the key to become great . To practice day by day , hour to hour every minute . He grew while his body wanted to stop . He fought back and is a testament to mental power . That so many try to suppress these days . For it's somehow cool to look weak and it's not, and Ren proved he is better than this new trend in mental health . And i am happy he shows it can be overcome with mental power and fisical persistance .
They found the wheelchair for Hi Ren here on the waste land in Brighton 😁 Nothing bad from Ren. Each song is 🔥🔥🔥 live even more so. One takes all great to see.
Brilliant reaction guys 🙏🙏🙏
I always look forward to your random little clip at the beginning. I laughed my ass off at the falling goats!!
Humble, humble and more humble! It's awesome.
Ren is the saviour of hip-hop...
Yeeeesssss!!!
I’ve heard every available Ren song and there is not one song that I would consider bad.
I think its cool how his steps match that crazy power sound at the start
Haven't heard a bad track from Ren. Him and his band are sooo tight. Apart from his obvious talent and bringing in old skool style with new school feels, his humour, poetry and intellect are fire. Also love the way he covers different style of music in his busking and brings them altogether. Insanely good! You should check out his War Pigs mash-up
This reaction was gold! Your facial expressions.... 🤣💙
Love Music 12 & 3. Masrerpieces
Tales of Jenny and Screech (complete trilogy), Genesis, Losing It -- just to start with!! FIRE!!
Top reaction - got a sub from me! If you want to go further down the Ren rap rabbit hole, 'What You Want' is my fave. And 'Power'. 'Genesis' is good too.
For a different style of Ren I highly recommended “ Humble “ featuring Eden Nash you cant go wrong with Ren but it’s one of my favourites and is on my playlists
More and more Ren please! ❤
Have been listening to Ren for a year or two now … nope, haven’t come across anything I don’t LOVE. Have fun discovering everything … you’re in for a hell of a ride 😊
Nope can't think of one bad track.. Think he farts in tune😉.....
✌️❤️🏴
I've not found a bad 1 yet and I've listened to alot
The guy on the left reminds me of the chracter from thor, made out of Rock, telling the story hahah... Fun to listen to
I been waiting for this one!
A song that may interest you "Animal Flow live"
I legit haven't heard a bad Ren song yet. There's a few that I might not be in the mood in the moment but damn... 0 bad songs on his entire Spotify playlist. It's ridiculous
Ren is amazing...great reacion thanks guys
Morning guys! Gotta love ren man! He is awesome! Plz watch "sick boi" by ren! You WILL Love it!❤️🤓
At 65 yrs old Ren always reminds me of Pink Floyd with his deep views of life and his Pigs.
The Pig on the cover of Pink Floyd's Animals Album and the ones that are shown in the Pulse concert.
Animal Flow is also based on Animal Farm.
I'm surprised he never mentions them as an inspiration
He also lives in the same town as Gilmore.
Be interesting if he meets Roger Waters one day.
Prepare yourselves for the one take wonder world of Ren. The Tale of Jenny and Screech with Violets Tale! Its like living in Medieval Times era and the court Jester dancing and singing with a guitar telling fair tale stories in the town square! lol Its fire thou!
Ren is a great artist 🤟 one of my fav is sick Boy great one once again guys
❤❤❤❤
~*Damnnn...our REN is the best.. I loveeeee him so *~
Have not heard a bad Ren song yet. I can't wait til you get to the Tales of Jenny and Screech and Violets Tale (HAVE TO DO ALL 3 IN ONE REACTION), Illest Of Our Time (rap), and How To Be Me LIVE ft Chinchilla 🔥
If you want to see his range watch "Bongo Bong" and the big push cover of "I shot the sheriff".
I went through Ren's catalog many times over, no bad song, but every song is different and often different genres or a mix of genres, which makes them - Fire!
Ren is that dude!! He has replaced everything in my playlists for the moment! He is every genre that I listen to! The dude is other worldly!
He released a live acoustic version of Animal Flow that he did in one take on a bus, and it’s Nasty. Just an FYI if you haven’t reacted to it yet.
He does do 90% of his production. There's a couple in his catalogue where he had help but most all him... he directs produces and performs... triple threat!
It's usually not my genre, so it says a lot that the first rap track ever to make it onto any of my playlists was Ren's Insomnia. 🥰 I still hold that track dear to my heart years later, like so many others by him too... Ren is an absolute treasure.
