I scoffed up one of those ironically from a garage sale, it was a steal for $10 ,all with a good dome & the original cigarette lighter plug ,its a well made light that will find a home of massive emergency lights that I got
This is funny, I just found an emergency vehicle light for $10 at a garage sale, now I'm searching up how to power it. It's made by Federal Sign and Signal Corporation, model BR-2S 12volt. There's a cord coming out the bottom that ends in a flat metal plate with a hole in it, unfortunately that info is too vague for google to tell me what I'm looking to understand.
It would still be nice to have for a collection. Put a halogen bulb in there, get a power supply and keep it on a shelf as a decoration. Turn it on when in a nostalgic mood. Beats the LED crap we have these days. Back when they knew how to make things.
I had one in Blue! I had a hellofa time replacing the halogen bulb. Paid $8 for it, was an assistant fireman’s beacon. Paid $8 at a garage sale for it...🚨

I bought 2 of these back in the day (early 80’s) Cost me 40 bucks each.
Very interesting! I like seeing old lights like this.
Nice explanation, but . . . plug it in! Let's see it in action!
I wanted to see it turned on...
J'ai exactement le même mais en orange
Why didn't you plug it in?????????
All of this talking and no demonstration? WTF?

I got one with no cracks. Would love to sell it.
