I think it's awesome parenting for isaac to be at his dad's every weekend. He must have a great connection with both parents and will grow up in a healthy surrounding for him. You're doing an awesome Job at being a mom tiff!
+huihsiangkyu (Sean) not true, i feel the way they doing things, tiff and case are more like married goals, cuz they have their own house and even a kid, while bart and geo are sharing a house with friends...im not saying sharing house is bad or anything, as joe explained in his vlog, and i do agree wit him, but having a house to urself is more "family" in the traditional sense...altho i personally would like to be in bart's situation...or joe's
It looks like you planted it kind of low so it might take some time for a sprout to appear. Don't be discouraged. Also careful not to overfeed the plan as an extreme imbalance in nutrients will kill it. Once you see some sprouts you may need to thin out the pot a bit if they all sprout as there won't be enough space and they'll compete with each other for room.
When garlic first sprouts, the sprout on top is gonna be green. Unless you're going to be using all the garlic when it's freshly grown you should probably let it " cure" which means like drying it out. ( the whole bulb+ sprout will look white/be flakey) Usually my family will pick all our garlic at once, and braid it all into a chain, so that each bulb of garlic sticks out. Then we hang it in a dark/dry ish place. :D After like to weeks or so you can just pick off a bulb and start using it. This makes it so that the garlic holds longer without rotting, and you don't have to throw any of it away after harvesting it~
It's just about time to start gardening. Easy starter vegetables are tomatoes, peppers, green beans and cucumbers. You pretty much buy the seeds and do it the same way you did with your garlic.
its so nice to see a bircaial couple that are two different minorities usually its a minority with a white person which is not bad or anything but its usually the norm we see on tv and media but its rare to see a couple with two different rich cultures
+Laura Alvarez yeah exactly, in my area most interracial couples are a minority with a white person so it makes me so happy to see Tiff and Casey together :D
its funny how they were like oh we should do some gardening and next thing you know they actually do it. Whenever I say something like that I forget about within the next 5 minutes lol
I absolutely love you guys. Such a cute Family filled with Love, Respect, warmth ,fun and care . I can watch you guys all day . I really enjoy the cooking too. Thanks for being so cool and hope you guys continue making these Vlogs P.S. Have a total man crush on Casey
This is awesome since I love to garden and plant seeds all the time. So far we have a lemon, avocado, guava, orange, apricot trees. Eggplant, chili three different kinds ranging in all kinds of sizes. At one point we had two tomato plants, papaya, cantaloupe vine (which gave the juices cantaloupes) they died on us . Next I want is papaya and tomato, but take care of it this time without killing it, mango tree, persimmon tree and peach tree.
That garlic will be a bit too close together. I would recommend buying or building (with treated lumber) a large rectangular planter box (can be built into tiers for different types of plants, like onions and herbs). Garlic needs to be about 4-6inches away from other plants to mature, Onions are the 6-8 depending on the variety. I don't know about ginger. For starting out your pot will be fine, so you have a month or 2 to work on it.
My mom and I garden a lot because as a true asian, we want to save up money hahaha. I think you did fine with the garlic. I advice to try to plant green onion, salad, ginger and cherry tomatoes. You get results pretty fast and easy, less than a month (maybe more for the tomatoes). There is a sense of satisfaction when you go to your garden to harvest what you planted and go to your kitchen to cooked them :)
Keep us updated on the garlic!! I know they need lots of sunshine but can't be subject to too high of a temp in the beginning stages and can't be watered too much. Growing things is hard! But looks like you guys are having fun! Can't wait to see how it turns out!
at 7:00 min, the soil was real low then later on it was filled up. hope you didn't double layered the garlic. not sure if that pot will work though cause it funnels at the bottom, a regular bucket would've been better. and you'd buried the garlics with too much soil, you only need to push it down into the soil and cover it.
You may want to plant the garlics a little more toward the top of the soil with just a thin layer of soil covering the garlic on top. Great Job starting your very own garden! Can't wait for the updates
Keep up the good work Casey and Tiff..thank you for being an inspiration to me and everyone around the world..P.S Casey your editing is on point like always 👍
Yeah, like when I watch joe's or bart's I feel like anxiety or something going through me. I think is because they scream and feel like they are pressured into doing it, unlike this one where they actually enjoy doing the vlog.
For easy gardening, i suggest beans and radishes. The stuff grows ultra fast and with beans after you harvest them they keep coming back. The radishes don't but you can cook the leafy tops for a side or something. They also come in neat colors. Yellow bush beans and french breakfast radishes are a personal favorite. Sunflowers are also pretty nice and easy to grow. I recommend the mammoth/regular sunflowers (the one with the huge flower heads). If you're looking to get seeds, always look at the specs it has, like how much sun it needs and whatnot to see if you can manage it. The instructions are usually on the back of each packet. General tips: It's best to water your plants early in the morning before the sun hits to prevent most of the water from just evaporating. If you ever wonder if your plant needs to be watered, stick your finger in the soil or a popsicle stick and if it comes out completely dry it needs watering. (Like the opposite of baking) Yellow leaves on your plants generally mean its being over or under watered, black/brown/dry leaves means its getting burnt by the sun or be diseased if its not dry and when a plant first sprouts, they wont look what you think it should look. You'll see what's called a cotyledon (think embryo stage for humans) and then it'll sprout it's "true leaves" after. After it gets it's first 2-3 sets of true leaves, it'll start looking like those seedling things you could buy from a store. Best of luck with the gardening. I got really into it myself for a couple of years and now I dont have the means to do it so I feel deprived every peak gardening season. XD
The Level of style on how Casey edits is UNREAL, not only its original, but it's memorable, since these guys should be uploading more often, I'm here just rewatching old videos, PLEASE UPLOAD MORE! no rush😄
A great starter garden plant is tomatoes. We have grown some the past couple years and they are hearty and grow fast. + the year old eats them like fruit so she loves watching and helping out.
Both of you did well! In addition to the garlic bulbs you can also eat the stalk as they spout by chopping them into an inch pieces and boil them with soy sauce and sugar - similar to how you would cook the lotus roots ( I think I saw you cook them?)
Gardening tip! Plant the garlic about two inches from the surface of the dirt. Planting it half way down in that container, the garlic will never sprout. :)
I actually might start gardening now....Thank you Tiff and Case! #GrowGardensNotLandfillsOhh and by the way! Because of you guys..I now know how to make awesome spare ribs!
You two could always plan parsley, cabbage, basil, mint, sage, etc and then vegetables! You two are relationships goals! i love seeing how happy you two make each other! :)
You guys did pretty good for the first time, make sure your plant has lots of sun when the green stems from the garlic plant start flowering cut them off and they will continue to grow. +Tiff & Case
I think it's awesome parenting for isaac to be at his dad's every weekend. He must have a great connection with both parents and will grow up in a healthy surrounding for him. You're doing an awesome Job at being a mom tiff!

me too and the green onions Caan grow like 3 inches in a few days
How do you plant a salad? lmao
You have to set the pot on fire so that it really makes the garlic tasty and don't forgot to burn the rest of ur house for smell
Lmao
PLS MAKE LONGER VLOGS! 🙏
I really do love your videos, pls bring back the 30 minute vlogs
+BLURRYFACE Takes too much time to edit. Given they still ave their other side responsibilities to their current group.
Keep us updated on the garlic!! I know they need lots of sunshine but can't be subject to too high of a temp in the beginning stages and can't be watered too much.
Growing things is hard! But looks like you guys are having fun! Can't wait to see how it turns out!
