- The Community Chest is a daily mini game within the Monopoly GO game that can earn you extra cash, dice sometimes, and a coveted purple sticker pack. It’s frustrating. It’s fun. It’s all sorts of things!
This video was a “labor of love” to put it nicely and a long time in the works trying all sorts of different strategies people have been using and swearing by and working through a bunch of different methods to see what works and what doesn’t.
Let me know what’s been working for you, if you’ve got an idea that I didn’t mention. I’m always open to trying different techniques and theories!

I've always selected all the friends gifts with the active friend bonus before selecting someone without one, as much as whenever possible. The only other bit of strategy I've been trying that seems to help is to take your time opening the community chest. Like between each push of the start button, put your phone down, maybe even get up walk away & do smtg else for a minute. When I take longer between presses I seem to get farther on it.
I also have a theory running that gifting is the secret to getting the golds in the game & since I've been gold locked for the past week and gifting all my trades I made it to the end of community chest this week! I've also gotten x3 new golds, & couple random surprise 5*s in a green & orange sticker packs! Think my rolls have generally improved some too.
It's predetermined to get you to spend money. They have no other objective. DON'T SPEND MONEY! It will not change the predetermination!
I've tried a few things and i like your way! Great idea. I am upset that it's predetermined but i had a feeling it was. I finally got to open the chest yesterday, hoping to get my last gold sticker but nope.. i got mine mine mine for the 4th time and 3 park places. UGGG. LOL> Gold locked over 1 card. TY for putting this out there.
Thank you for putting in the time & effort for testing this❤ I very rarely get the sticker pack in CC….I’ve seen several people posting lately that they get it sometimes 3-4 times a week…makes me wonder what they are doing differently…. I will try your strategy but I’m thinking it’s not going to really matter ❤
@@brendaschenck859 it won’t guarantee opening it, but it does seem to work to get at least 1 more than you would without doing it, which is more cash and better than nothing but 🤷🏻♀️
I have accidentally done it this way and it worked a lot when I first started playing but not so much anymore. However, that’s user error because I get impatient. On another note about the game being predetermined…I think it should be illegal because it should be a game of chance. It is truly about the money for them. Duh I know it is.
With traditional gambling it is illegal. They sidestep that with symantics by calling it a board game.
Exactly. Because you can’t win real money, it’s a game and not gambling
2:30 Incorrect....I just opened the community chest up today, and the first present with my very first roll WAS money.
Same, except it was dice for me and I still ended up opening the chest.

My APM has stopped working as well as it used to do. I can now only log in 3-4 times and then the game will timeout for 24hrs is there a way around this please.

Most times I leave 1 and avoid picking the center one. That seems to work for me. I pick 3 of the 4 in the first gift and leave 1 for the very end.
Can you do a new apm video? I’ve tried but I’m doing something wrong with fuel devices. Does it make a difference if you have an iPad and iPhone?
It doesn’t matter what your device is, but I’ll see what I can do and if I have time this week to get a video done for you. I have 2 others I’m working on currently, but I’ll try!
A lot of the time I do not have four ppl with gifts on my board. On a rare occasion I won’t have any gifts period on my board. I appreciate you taking the time to explain all of this. It is helpful. Also I am not a player that spends ANY money on this game so I believe that this definitely affects what I get and don’t. Ty again ❤
I found out (just haven’t posted a video on it yet) that you get gifts when you interact with your friends. So by attacking their buildings, they give you more gifts in the community chest (up to 4 gifts)

I've completed the chest a few times, and most times not. I've found, like you that the active friend token works better at clearing the board, but with predetermined rules, that goes out the window. Maybe if you could prove that all these videos for "unlimited dice" actually work, or they are scams, that would be helpful too. Enjoy your videos, as they are super helpful. Hi shawna ... Can you make a new tutorial about limit warning ? I do a APM metode just 4-5x and i can't open my account for 24hours 😢 . Maybe you have a solution

Hey Shawna it’s probably too late for this digging event but you should do a video about finishing early or saving your pickaxes for dice. They changed the rewards structure last update. I checked the rewards list and where I was supposed to get 12 pickaxes I got 450 dice in the side tournament for one reward and was supposed to get 17 pickaxes and got a pink sticker pack instead. I think it might be worth it to finish as early as possible now just the opposite of what it was before

@@ivandavies5035 I used to choose a non-gift person every single time I got an active friend bonus bc logically/statistically, that means you have a higher chance of having an AFB in the last 2 to clear the board, but it RARELY ever went that way. I disproved my logical theory over the last 5-6 weeks testing everything. 😂

@@ChasChasityChas that was the only way I could put it, lol. Even if this method only gets you 1 more person cleared off the board, that’s more beneficial than 1 less so 🤷🏻♀️
Hi Shawna, I'm curious when you land on community chest during normal game play, if you put more money into the chest, does your outcome of opening community chest improve. Have you found anything like that too be true? Great videos. Super informative. Thank you.
@@christaylor9376 honestly, I haven’t seen or heard of a correlation between more money in it and outcome of opening it, but it’s possible, I suppose. I’ll see what I can do to look into it some time. Thanks for the question!

It’s funny u got cart dash champs sticker n that’s the only one I’ve needed for weeks to finish whole album lol omg unreal
Its not really predetermined. Like all games, it has an rng and a seed, monopoly go share these seed with the client so the client can simulate the random stuff on itself, but it still rng, and still match the server.

No. There used to be a hack for that, but they patched that months ago. Doesn’t work now.

Choosing someone without s gift has been logic from day 1

But logic also would state that choosing a non-gift person EVERY TIME you get an active friend bonus would statistically make the most sense, but in this game, it doesn’t work in our favor if we do that. Not sure why, but it doesn’t. Just the game working against players from what I can gather.
@@shawna01515 the game is rigged for us to lose. No matter what. I’m still confused as to why bots are needed when there are millions of players who can fill lobbies.
I have tried your method several times, I usually get down to the last one than get the key. In the last 6 weeks I have been able to get the sticker pack one time. Don’t know what I’m doing wrong?
@@DebbieJones-z8c that’s normal. This method isn’t guaranteeing that you open it. Just that it gets you maybe 1-2 more spots cleared than usual. It’s all whether the game wants you to open it or not

If I notice my gifts have the AFB, I try to clear out the ones who DON'T have a gift and leave one of them back. Then I chain the AFBs and try to leave the last non-gift friend for the last pick. I'll give this method a shot tho!
@@angelobds that’s how I used to do it 100% because it made the most sense to me, but in the weeks I was testing out different methods, this way seems to get me more, which doesn’t make sense, lol. It goes completely against logic 😂
Question. All them videos that claim you can get thousands of dice. Those are all bogus right ? Is there really a way to get a bunch of dice other than them links ?

@@shawna01515 cool lol cause I wasted my time downloading other games and it never works. I mean if I can get something like that one time to work for me I’ll feel more confident in playing the game regular lmao you know. Because dice goes FAST due to the game being already rigged.

Finally got hit with the 24 block .I haven't played since 6 pm yesterday. It's now 10pn and I still have to wait 2 hours. I'm done with it. I'll retire with 65,000 dice

Usually I have 4 friends with gifts, but today when I opened it I only had 2 friends with a gift. Wonder what's up with that?
So a few people have mentioned it and I’ll probably do a video on it soon, but you can get up to 4 friends with gifts, but you increase your chances of getting an active friend bonus (and all 4 gifts) if you attack your friends and they also attack you. It stinks, but it’s even in the Q&A in the app
Here lately I have only been getting 2 gifts. Not 4. I haven't seen 4 in a while

Hey Shawna, have you seen the new notification you get if you log out and log in too much? It might be a rolling update but my account got it last night, it said something along the lines of “you are nearing the log in limit”.
This def makes APM a lot harder and might make it a near obsolete method. Hopefully someone will find a workaround but if not it’s such a bummer :/
Might have to quit playing the game if Scopely continues dropping the ball like this. Anyways would love to hear your thoughts!
@@bobbylobby135 that’s an update that Scopely has rolled out. I haven’t seen or heard of a way around it yet unfortunately unless you have 2 devices
@shawna1515 do you have a tutorial using dual devices with a vpn? Does it work around getting the log in limit message
@@sueupstny it does work and I do have a video on it! Just go to my YT page, find the video with the NO INTERNET error message pic on the left of the thumbnail and green words on the right! Says something like How to get around the NO INTERNET error message.

I have heard that there is an app that people are using now that keeps them in apm all the time, as a work around, have you heard anything about this?

Every day my community chest opens at 8 in the morning. I went in the game and although it isn’t 8 yet I clicked to check it and this is the 2nd time it says I have over 6 hours left to open it up. Why would that be? So I can’t open for another 6 hours or so. 😢

@@vasurathna9770 It’s not meant to open the chest every time. The game makes sure that doesn’t happen often. It just helps to get maybe one or 2 more cleared off the board that may not have come off before. It doesn’t always work either. Just more consistently. Hope it helps in the future!

In your video you said every day you’re supposed to get four prize boxes I don’t know why but I haven’t had four prize boxes in two weeks a couple days I didn’t have none is this normal

@@PaulMedford-fy4im I suggest interacting with them more. Maybe trade one dumb 1* sticker a day with one of them or (unfortunately) attack them or tell them to attack you. The more interaction (according to the customer service Q&A), the more likely to have a gift box in the community chest
You didn’t help me by telling me what to do to get more presents so I’m getting four every day now sorry I’ve been hitting you but I hit everybody like you said once I’ve got the active friend twice both times of pick someone else it didn’t work but think you’re strategy is the best way like you said if they don’t want you to open it you’re not going to thank you love your videos
