The most beautiful voice on the planet. This makes life better.
My favourite soprano is Maria Callas, the most beautiful voice on earth. Her acting was magnificant. I agree with you about Montserat! She had one of the most beautiful voices on earth, and what I liked of her is her friendliness, always smiling. Montserat was such a humble person, I liked the way she worked with the conducter and the orchestra and the accompanists and other soloist and the choir, always so humble and smiling. She was really a beautiful person in every way. I hope I will meet her one day in heaven and that I will hear her singing in one of the concert halls in heaven. That wiil really be a blessing to hear her singing with the angel choirs. Shalom!!!
@@JohannNefdt…sorry no, Maria’s top notes were harsh on my ears……Monty’s caresses them !!!
So clear and soothing …so rare !!!!🏴🇬🇧
Second to NO ONE...EACH VOICE MAKES THE ANGELS IN HEAVEN WEEP IN ADMIRATION VOICES LIKE THIS ARE FROM GOD HIMSELF
Voice of an angel. So delicate and clear.
There are many very nice opera singers, charismatic, skilled, artistic and dramatic, but such magic voices like Montserrat happen only once! She's perfect. We're lucky we can hear her anytime due to records.
Right ! Thanks for all the récords that alllow all of ya listen tvOS magically Work
Caballe . Oné of the greatest sopranos of out time ❤
She was and sang like an angel
A kind, humble soul indeed ... and she gave EVERYTHING when she sang. The biggest miracle of all was how effortless it seemed -- bravissima, Montserrat !
So beautiful and her high notes float on air as if an angel has come to give us a beautiful gift....
1 agree with you, I hope to one day hear her singing in heaven with the angel choirs. God bless you.
I am from the land of song. My mam was a beautiful Contralto and, I was therefore brought up, surrounded with music.
In my opinion Montserrat Cabelle was, by far, the finest, female opera singer the world has known.
As for gorgeous, second to none.
R.I.P.
Fortunately so many great recordings left. World will always remember you.
Love you Montsy! The most beautiful voice in the world.
Are you Maria Chiara, the singer ? because to me, Maria Chiara is the most beautiful voice I have ever heard.
"Montsy" ? ....versus "Cally" ?
The most beautiful voice in the world indeed. She is a Pure Belcanto!
The most beautiful voice I have ever heard.
I remember the time and place I first heard Montserrat Caballé's voice - I was 16, coming home from school and heard it on my mom's car radio. Yes, it made that level of impact on my soul.
She was invited to Greece by the Greek fashion designer Polatov, her friend and TV played her Hijo de la Luna to present her arrival... Instant love
Montse has such a soft pure tone with her highest notes. She was an angel 👼 on earth. I imagine she and Freddie are finishing their operas in heaven!
Rest in Peace Signora Caballe! Thank you So much! You will Remain in our Hearts!!! Your music will live Forever!!!
Caballé n'a rien à envier à Callas.
I hope I'm not the only one that doesn't like Callas's voice timbre. There's, to me, something really annoying about her voice. I always say that it sounds as though she had candy in her mouth. I know I'm stepping on dangerous ground and I might get a lot of angry comments, but that's how I feel.
@@liguten I'm quite sure she was good technically and artistically, but that something in her voice completely spoils everything to me.
I'm not an expert, so I just value what makes me feel and pleases my ears. And that thing is quite disturbing for me.
@@frangomares I understand very well and I think the same thing. For me Caballe has been often near of the "perfection", above all between 1963 and 1979.
Caballe is the only one I like to hear over and over again without being fed up.Why? I do not know. I can't analyse it.It just is that way.
because of the dreamy beauty of her voice which caresses the soul like velvet?
Yes, of corse due to her voice -but I think also thanks to her Alma and corazon. She has so many facettes. I wrote an article about her - in Swedish, my language. It is published last month in www.tidningenkulturen.se. I am an author, and feel I cannot stop writing about her.
@@Flyghumlan9 She was as beautiful inside as outside. Her very soul was as beautiful as her voice.
They're all gone now. Thank you and goodbye Montserrat.
Sam Ramey, Reri Grist, Renata Scotto, Richard Stilwell, lots of great singers are still alive from the old guard and new ones are cropping up to help keep the greatest art alive, don't worry.
Can anyone doubt that she is one of the greatest ever?!! Thank you so much, Montserrat, for fighting in life to bequeath so much beauty and truth to all the coming generations! We shall never forget you and we will cry for your loss for ever!
Callas, Sutherland, Caballe - La Divina, La Stupenda, La Superba - the Holy Trinity of the 20th century
I think everyone who was lucky enough to work with her lived her to the end.
I have known her voice for years of course, but never heard that aria. She is so superb, my eyes filled with tears throughout. We've got good sopranos now, but none like her. Thank you Montse 😙
Second to none. :)
Thanks for this beauty.
She was a friend to me. I cant listen to her without crying
I love you Montserrat Cabelle I love your voice and I know you are singing in heaven front of goddes
3:35 to 3:45... 10 seconds of dreamy perfection.
@@LohengrinO Been having a bit of a Caballe-fest this week. It's unbelievable her singing here.
We compare Callas, Montserrat and Joan Sutherland but let's face it, they all have unique, stunning voices. The remainder is simply nuances.
Agreed. I am really lucky. Have seen and heard all three of them. The greatest artists in the world ever of opera
@@petererdos8458 you sure were lucky to have heard these 3 goddesses! Bless you, Sir!
@@debbiejohnson2789 Thanks for the message. I am lucky indeed and it is a great pleasure to remember those magnificent evenings at the opera
Absolutely beautiful..God bless her
my absolute favorite performance...
I am wordless, what magic is this?
Chills....perfection...her stunning voice came from her stunning kind humble soul....she had every right to be a diva but was anything but a diva...she was gracious a tireless worker she expected everyone to bring their very best to most earnestly communicate every second of every composers son with the emotion they intended to convey. Her love and dedication to opera was clear with every passionate performance to which no other singer could ever hope to match. She was never as hard on others than she was on herself always giving respect to every musician conductor staff member and her mentors and teachers and those who facilitated her career. We will miss her greatly but alas she has left her work for future generations to study...it is up to us ....her fans...and loyal supporters of the most beautiful art form of centuries ...opera...
Rest in peace sweet Angel
limpid divinity rest in eternal peace such beauty
Today's young singers should study how to really sing by using this gift from God as an example of perfection.......
young singers should never try to learn from phenomena such as Callas - Sutherland - Caballe, it is impossible to learn the least from them
Cabelle and Callas were both great in totally different way. Imaging saying ‘this fruit is the best apple in the world only second to a pear .... ‘
Caballe sounds much bettttttterrr! 😂😂😂 callas screams sometimes and seems to be too tragical when caballe keeps a line, a fluidity of the sounds and she makes u listen her with pleasure without hurting ur ears! 😂
Gorgeous, floating voice. Fascinating to see how she set her mouth and facial muscles for each note.
She almost sings internally which is very interesting to watch her mouth
Divina Montserrat 💖💖💖💖💖💖
Voice of an angel.
Heavenly as ever
the Balm for the Soul listen to this if u havent already: ua-cam.com/video/LVA5TKlADtI/v-deo.html
Chills...brilliantly executed just flawless in the most humble hard working non assuming truely angelic. Voices...just brilliant..brava ms cabelle....brava..⚘⚘⚘⚘⚘⚘
No one else sings like her!
It's many years ago now, I had heard of her, but I really didn't notice her until the duet with Freddy Mercury in 1987 or something like that. At times I have found her voice very soft, beautiful and easy on the ears like few if any others. It takes a bit of adjustment to get used to the opera technique, but sometimes it comes effortlessly to anyone. Caballe could do that. I think she managed to adapt her voice technique to the different music she took on superbly.
Listen to the late Galina Pisarenko. And to Ingeborg Hallstein... Many of the great ones were scarcely famous at all, because of the misfortune of having been born at a particular place in a particularly troubled or disastrously misguided society... "Al Dolce Guidami"!
I'm living for Montserrat Caballé's impeccable dynamics! Those pianissimo notes? WOW!
So perfect.
Thank you for so much greatness. Second to none and in a class of your own! Catalan pride, only heaven and you know what we have suffered! T'estimo molt meva querida dona!
Bella, bellísima interpretación!
there are no words to describe the beauty of her voice... just the same way you cannot describe a miracle... it just is...
Thank you thank ylu thank you Monserrat for being in my life and sharing your pure voice with me and giving me years of pleasure. My God Bless you xxx
What amazing breath!....
Can you imaging a bird coming to my garden every spring to sing like this....🌿
Disfrutando de esta hermosura en cuarentena. BESOS AL CIELO DESDE CHILE
Thank you all for all those beautiful comments! Her voice and persona will live with us forever!
wow wow wow hermosa voz!!!! WHAT A VOICE!!
Te fuiste mi ángel, y me dejaste solo. Gracias por tu entrega. Hasta siempre.
Rest in peace dear lady. You are beloved by your fans and will live forever in song and in the hearts you touched.
This voice and this magic lost forever
¡Dios! ¡¡Qué obra maestra su canto!! Gracias, Montserrat, una sanadora del espíritu humano. ❤️❤️❤️
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE THIS.
I will simply say, "Wow incredible beauty"
I love you, I love you, I love you. A sea of love dear beautiful Lady to you from Karachi, Pakistan.
She opened a new door for us, for all the singers in the world, a door that had been closed. Behind it was sleeping not only great music but great idea of interpretation. She has given us the chance, those who follow her, to do things that were hardly possible before her. That I am compared with Callas is something I never dared to dream. It is not right. I am much smaller than Callas.
Montserrat Caballé, as quoted in Callas : The Art and the Life (1974) by John Ardoin
we should be grateful for a world that can give us such examples of beauty, and a diversity of beauty too
Thanks for the extended background information, and of course for this beautiful and beautifully sung aria.
Te amo Montse. 😍
Both large voices capable of excellent coloratura and great beauty.
I love her high key voice.
An Angel☀️
Montserrat Caballe✨
Caballe: sings
Me: speachless
Montserat and Maria Callas are two of those magnificent sopranos!!!
my favorite soprano
Sublime. Absolutely sublime.
She is absolutely perfect voice forever!!!
Caballe was what Joan Sutherland use to think she was, this softer option to the Callas ultra powerfull sound... Just like Ponselle. These 2 really had a true velvet timbre, it was not faked to sound like that in detriment to consonants.
GRACIAS A SU VOZ POR TODOS LOS MOMENTOS FELICES DISFRUTADOS
Superba....magnífica....the last diva!!!
Sublimely delicate.
Such mastery . Fabulous intonation and every phrase sung with such passion and fluidity . A treat to listen to .
I agree that she is second to none. Unique!
she was third actually after Maria and dame Joan... cruel profession Opera, u can be a phenomenon and still be third or even 10th in rank
this woman’s understanding and devotion to music was 10 times that of Sutherland
Second!?! :) :) :) Never!! Divine and superb singing. Montserrat is unique and second to no one.
wonderful Montsy
Wow! What an ending!
"Al dolce guidami" from "Anna Bolena", composed by Gaetano Donizetti.
Diva forever Monserat Caballe!
second to no one she is the greatest in her own right.
