Storyline:
Clannad: Ushio is a little girl. Her mom and dad fell in love. The mom has a sickness. She dies. The dad gets depressed. He leaves his kid with his mother in law. (His mom died) he meets her when she's about 4/5 years old. They get along eventually. Ushio dies after living after him for a while. She has her mom's illness. Later on, after depression again, the dad sees a magical light beem which takes your wishes if you've seen it floating. He makes a wish. All the family's back!!
Chuunibyou:
Rikka's mom died when she was young so she tried to act like she had powers and puts an eyepatch on and a yellow eye contact to make her look like a master. Her dad dies shortly after. Her now friend and crush, who she saw doing his "dark lord" ritual, does no longer believe there is a horizon. Or Master of the Tyrant's eye. Or the Dark Lord. He shouts at Dekomori, Rikka's "servant" (Deko calls Rikka Master) and she cries. Rikka is broken and no longer believes. She goes to her dad's grave with her stern sister and comes back, nearly kisses Yuuta at the end, *FANGIRLS AND BOYS YOU KNOW HOW IT FEELZZZZZ OMG WHY DA PHONE WHYYYYYYYY* but yh never happens. Hope ya read this. Thanks. 10 mins of my life wasted :(
