Hi, if you are interested in Fiat Allis dozers and used spare parts, we have them. You can see them on our website www.agri3b.it For any information you can write to me at the email: info@agri3b.it
IMHO, straight garbage, right there. I worked at Fresh Kills Landfill as a Tractor Operator for 28 years. In 1986 The City bought all new Fiat Allis dozers (100+) to repace or aging D8K fleet. They lasted one year. They had to turn up the engines to make the 425 hp that the City required, and they were thin and light duty. If you hit a rock or piece of steel you cold feel it go through your body, ugh. The City scrapped the entire fleet and repaced them with (100+) D8 L's and D9 L's. We never had any problem with these machines, and used them up until the Landfill closed. We also tested Dresser, Terex, Kamatsu, and other mahines. The Caterpillar dozers proved to be the most durable and easiest to repair. During 911, the City bought all new D9R's with extreme duty rock guards and auxiliary coolers. I was fortunate enough to have my own D9R with the single ripper (1 of 2). I Armor Alled the interior, and put carpet inside. There is nothing like pulling a brand new "yellow" machine off the trailer, knowing that the City bought it for your use excusively. I miss that machine.
