@dev-9962 he shouldn't have been sent anything alive at all. disregarding the animal it is for a sec, sending anyone an alive animal without them knowing is a HORRIBLE idea because they dont know! they won't know to open the box, they wont have a place for it to live, they wont have food for it and (worse case) wont even know how to care for it. Sending someone an animal without prior consent from the recipient is almost a guarantee the animal will suffer somehow

It’s bad enough sending a live animal to someone without they’re prior knowledge or permission but to send one that the person has a known phobia of and to a PO Box that might not be regularly check is cruel to both the animal and the person. I’m amazed how far I had to scroll to find someone else comment about the spider. It makes me feel like people are a lost cause.
@@LunaCiaroSage on top of that, the way the spider was packed up, it likely came from a breeder who put time, effort and ressourcces into breeding these spiders, which is ultimately a waste, if shit like this happens to the animal. I just hope this doesn't happen again, like you said it's cruel to both him and the spider.

If they went through the whole process of picking the animal putting the address and payment info and still didn’t think “hey this might not be a good idea and would be cruel to both the animal and person, and could end in the death of the spider” (even if it was still alive when it reached him he may have thrown it which could be deadly) I doubt that seeing the results of their “prank” will make them feel bad
I feel like obviously part of it was because its a spider, and he's clearly very not fond of spiders so he would be clearly freaked out. Plus it should be a thing where people should already know to not do that. I have confidence that if it does happen again or something Brandon will address it then, if its a one off, while it doesn't take away that shouldn't have happened, people should be able to to know thats messed up.

As a late 80s kid I instantly recognized the exploding fart bombs. As Brandon swung his hand down to smack the fart bomb I yelled out "NOOOO!!!" Too late..... The "IT'S HISSING AT ME!" immediately followed by him picking it up and exploding in his face legitimately had me rolling laughing for a good 20 minutes. I'm pretty sure I laughed so hard I broke a rib or two. Brandon you made my year with that 🙂

A lot of the miniatures were from other artists. I’m going to post the video of the details on my channel though since a lot of people want to see more details.

I really think the community needs to stop and think for a second because why on Earth would anyone send an actual live animal through the mail to someone who 1. doesn't open mail frequently enough for the animal to actually be alive on unboxing and 2. does not care to take care of said animal!! I get that his arachnophobia is "funny" and it's a whole bit on this channel but it genuinely made me sad to see the animal having died for literally no reason at all. And don't come at me saying "It's just a spider!" That's a living creature, too. Whoever chose to send that, do better.

I’m really sad someone sent a live animal without asking you first, since there was no way you could’ve known it would sit there for 2 months and die before you’d find it. I’m told the breeder would be able to determine who purchased it and at least make sure they don’t sell any animals to them again.

It’s bad enough sending a live animal to someone without they’re prior knowledge or permission but to send one that the person has a known phobia of and to a PO Box that might not be regularly check is cruel to both the animal and the person. I’m amazed how far I had to scroll to find someone else comment about the spider. It makes me feel like people are a lost cause.
@@LunaCiaroSage on top of that, the way the spider was packed up, it likely came from a breeder who put time, effort and ressourcces into breeding these spiders, which is ultimately a waste, if shit like this happens to the animal. I just hope this doesn't happen again, like you said it's cruel to both him and the spider.

If they went through the whole process of picking the animal putting the address and payment info and still didn’t think “hey this might not be a good idea and would be cruel to both the animal and person, and could end in the death of the spider” (even if it was still alive when it reached him he may have thrown it which could be deadly) I doubt that seeing the results of their “prank” will make them feel bad

I’m disappointed Brandon didn’t say anything to discourage people from sending him live animals in the mail in the future.
I feel like obviously part of it was because its a spider, and he's clearly very not fond of spiders so he would be clearly freaked out. Plus it should be a thing where people should already know to not do that. I have confidence that if it does happen again or something Brandon will address it then, if its a one off, while it doesn't take away that shouldn't have happened, people should be able to to know thats messed up.

I really think the community needs to stop and think for a second because why on Earth would anyone send an actual live animal through the mail to someone who 1. doesn't open mail frequently enough for the animal to actually be alive on unboxing and 2. does not care to take care of said animal!! No shot you're evil enough to spend that kind of money on a creature you know for a fact will end up dead or at best uncared for. You'd just go out in your yard and catch one then send that.
