- What percentage of Jesus’s disciples is a bit of a wrong ‘un? This round of ‘If This Is The Answer, What Is The Question?’ gets a bit out of hand as the panelists continue to pelt Dara with hilarious questions.

I love it when they know Dara's feeling pressed and they really decide to go off, just to make his life even more uncomfortable. Poor Dara puts up with a lot from those fools. He's to be commended for not actually losing it. 🤣
What percentage of the current population will be alive when Brexit is finally sorted?
MP's pay to go up by 9%, but they will argue over a pay rise for workers of 3%.
Politicians really do love themselves, and this shows just what they are in politics for. (Hint; it's not to help other people).
Well, playing devil's advocate, there are 650 of them and how many workers?
@@TreborTnemorf That's an argument with false pretenses. Giving workers more money kickstarts the economy because they are going to spend it. Not only that, it will also increase productivity (more money = healthier eating, fewer worries, etc). So money that is spent on people who actually need it, will come back. Meanwhile giving rich people (and most MPs are rich, else they wouldn't have had the connections, time, etc to run for office) helps noone. It's mostly used for stock buybacks which doesn't change much except that they will have larger control over their companies which leads to them being able to further exploit their workforce.
"Trickle down" has been debunked by history and reality. Give a poor person money and it will be used, give a rich person money and he will buy a gun to rob you.
The only theoretically real argument would be that MP's (and judges and teachers and so on) are in a solid enough financial state that they are less prone to take bribes. But with bribes (whether illegal ones or the ones that are allowed in today's pseudo-democracies) it's less about what people need and more about greed. So there goes that argument...

While yes your view is correct, there are concerns with inflation and minimum wage workers. The main reason for this is that if people expect this to lead to inflation (which people expected the stimmy cheques to do so) this gives corporations the excuse to charge more, resulting in actual inflation. Eventually people run out of this extra money but the prices have all been adjusted. Look at the state of the world at the moment. You will have some politicians and some voters who strongly believe that the reason this was caused was because of the free money given out. Ive seen people my age giving out about the increase in the cost of a chicken fillet roll blaming it on the fact that deli workers were getting 20c more this year. Utter nonsense
@@eomoranI know this is either in jest ot just economic dogma but, that's why capitalism sucks (democracy does too because it's the worst form of government, except for all the rest) and we can have price caps on retailers.
