Today is day 9 of our Walt Disney Wolrd 50th trip and its Animal Kingdom day!
We firstly made our way to Dino land to ride Dinosaur, we then went on Triceratops’s spin and got the adorable SImba popcorn bucket!
Everest was so much fun. We then made our way to Pandora for the rides and some food, who else loves the cheeseburge pods?!
We did the safari at 2:30pm so the lions were no-where to be seem (we did the Safari on the next AK day dont worry!)
We went to Rafikis Planet Watch and drew Scar too!
For the evening we ate at the resort then had a walk around the Boardwalk!

Ahhhh I knew you had good taste, Hannah! 😁 Animal Kingdom is our favorite WDW park and EPCOT is right on its heels as our second-favorite. We love every restaurant, ride and attraction at DAK *except* for Kite Tails - we got a good laugh out of your referring to Kite Tails as a “funny” show 😂 I think it would be perfectly acceptable as an offering if they hadn’t have retired an amazing nighttime show (Rivers of Light) to bring about a universally-disliked puppet and kite show. As for the rest of the park though, pure Disney magic! ✨ Flight of Passage is one of our favorite rides anywhere in the world, Disney or no Disney. We’ve actually never done the Animation Experience at DAK, but we have done the petting zoo next door and absolutely love the atmosphere over at the Rafiki’s Planet Watch area. You were so lucky to get Scar in the ‘doodle lottery’! The Lion King is Katie’s absolute favorite movie and it will probably never change. 😉 Another great vlog from an amazing trip!
Thank you so much! Animal Kingdom is just so calming, there is something extra magical about it! We didnt see Kite-tails properly but as we were walking past a couple times we did see a random kite in the air!
Rivers of Light was our favourite, we were so sad to hear it was gone.
We were worried about the doodles as I am not artistic atall but they made it seem so easy!
I love AK. It’s an amazing park. I was lucky to be there on opening day and I met Roy Disney and Joe Rhode. Actually did the animation experience for the first time in March and loved it so much. We drew Bambi. Love your videos.
Its such a beautiful park! No way how amazing is that! Awww Bambi is so cute, we were hoping for a Lion King character so were happy to see it was Scar!
