@lightyoshiman Breh, there were 2 times the universe was threatened in Beerus & Goku's fight. The first time when they were in the stratosphere clashing, and due to their blows not being aligned properly, the kinetic energy of their blows sped out ward into a wave that threatened the universe's annihilation. Goku fixed this however by punching beerus with the right angle later when he felt more used to his power. And is also why we didn't see more of that later on the fight. Second time was Beerus's energy ball that got stronger with Goku and Beerus ki. That would if potentially detonated would spell the end for the universe, Goku however defused it in base with a punch in the Anime. Your not wrong tho, but to only say that it was ment to show of the antagonist; Beerus's power is kinda ignorant. As it was also to show of Goku's power in his Super Saiyan God for the introduction of the new series DBS.
@@joshuakulah1496except it kind of dose because these feats are never replicated again despite goku getting stronger in later battles. goku vs frieza their battle is shown to only effect earth not the galaxy and not the universe (and you can't even use the whole ki control argument cause frieza didn't have good ki control). Then the broly fight? broly should have destroyed earth just by raging out yet nothing he did melt the arctic though and during his clash with gogeta they broke the dimension somehow but they should have been doing that earlier The scaling for DB is off by a wide margin and the only defense that can be made is "ki control" even though it's been stated that not everyone can control their ki

But just to say one thing, Broly in the manga was confirmed to have efficient ki control by Goku in the recent manga. I'm unsure but it was along the lines: "Broly has a suprising amount of control of his power." Or something like that. And the wierd thing is, even tho he didn't destroy the earth, he and gogeta apperently had enough energy to break through into super-dimensions. Meaning one thing, earth is a plot device. And has only been destroyed 3 in the entire series (Four times if you include GT). It's used either to excelate the situation, like with kid buu. Taking the fight to otherworld and sacred world of the kais. Or to show of a technique, like when Frieza destroyed the earth. But it happened to be fine bc Whis could rewind time. And the last time is when Trunks' earth and his timeline got erased. The last two proves that the writers don't want the Earth to be destroyed bc there are important characters there that would die if that became the case, for instance the main character: Goku. That's why they allowed Vegeta to be the one to suffocate in space, and trunks' timeline to be erased, bc it had nothing to do with Goku and if it would case any trouble for him.

The main reason to why SSG in its introductory threatened the universe is because the power is entirely novel to goku and it took him a while to get adjust his ki control to be able to precisely use his powers without threatening the universe. If anything, it goes to show how much everyone has improved on their control of their ki because toriyama himself stated that its important to control your ki as much as it is to increase it. SSG goku is a testament to it. It happened again with zamasu(whose power went haywire and threatened other timelines) and toppo(toppo didn't bother controlling hakai, and warped the entire dimension that is outside of the universe and void of spacetime) and broly(he was talented, but gogeta pushed his control to the point that he shattered super dimensions outside of the universe). Characters getting powers they lack the understanding or uses has been consistent when it comes to their control of their ki if push comes to shove. Battle of gods had beerus pushing goku to the point he wasn't able to get used to SSG powers. As a result, it almost destroyed universe 7.
