- A lot of channels are left unused in multiple parts of this one. But at least it doesn't abuse program changes like a lot of Genesis tracks like to do.

I love the zangy energy channel 9 has. One of my favourite SFX in the whole game
Do you happen to now what is it exactly?
@@OmegaMugen it sounds like a weird filter on an electric guitar, but I can’t tell exactly what it is
@@OmegaMugen probably a really compressed sound of someone playing bass using the "finger-style" method. At least, that's what I think the midi is trying to imitate.
@@OmegaMugen ua-cam.com/video/Q1ev81ohieU/v-deo.html
@@Splatomix it’s definitely not as compressed as you’d think
0:07 That bass tho
Ik. Sounds like a plane
@@jammychoo i mean the level takes place in the sky
@@NoNamex1412 my thought exactly
@@jammychoo what kind of plane did you fly in?
@@iconicdragon3603 ?
funkee beats
Ain't nothin' like a funky beat!
GIMME ONE DAMN FUNKEE BEAT BOI!
Chanel 11 is michael jackson
@Carlos what song of Michael jackson
@@irinapruitt6423 it’s the “come on!” sample. It isn’t actually MJ but it sounds a lot like his style.
I'm so glad I found this channel
Does anyone know where the scream (Channel 11) came from?
My best guess is a woman
Channel 11 (Vocal Samples):
The "unh" comes from Masterbits - Rapsody: CLIMAX 10 - Add Lips Vocals
The "won't get me (and the rest of the vocals)" come from Masterbits - Rapsody: CLIMAX 9 - Rapsody (Vocals II) - Shouts!
The scream comes from USB SOUNDSCAN VOLUME 1: Hard & Loud Techno.
Could you do one for Ska Cha Cha, please?
i would love to listen to just channels 14-16
Hello! I've been working on a video for a while about the samples used in Sonic Rush. Do you think I could use these videos to more evidently point out specific sound effects, please? Thanks.
Sure!
@@NUKELEDGE Thanks a ton!
I hope to see your video soon
Wont get me
thank you
0:07 that bass is SMELLY!!!!!!
It's from Leave You Far Behind by Lunatic Calm
@@fizzy-frenzy No. It is not. It is just electric bass through a specific noise filter that sounds like it.
CHANNEL 3 RIGHT AT THE VERY END
It's an extremely subtle sample that only plays in Sonic's version
I can never make out what it says though...
it’s not a voice sample lol, I thought the exact same thing as you until I browsed the samples and figured out it’s just the end of that guitar riff sample
I'm looking forward to more of these. (Specifically Rush Adventure coz that games the shit)
Shadow put this on 100% volume
I somehow stumbled upon ur account and i dont regret it this is so cool
0:07 Imagine that part being an unused loop of Get Edgy like Sonic CD did unused loops.
0:10 🎵I WANNA TAKE YOU ON A ROLLER COASTER!!🎵
Btw, Channel 12's sample is Lunatic Calm - Leave You Far Behind
*Obligatory Shadow reference*
Jokes aside, great work as always.
And WHY does Channel 11 keep screaming in my right ear? XD
?
i think the worst part about the shadow jokes is that shadow wasn't even in rush lol
Cant wait to see more of these! I love them so much!!
YOOOOOOOOO
No one talking about the combo of channels 2, 4 and 13. Honestly really cement the song as one of my favourites. I mean channel 9 was already what hooked me but that combo is incredible
wonjepi or monjepi?
Outstading!

Wasn’t that used in Quartz Quadrant Bad Future?

Does anyone happen to know what channel 9 is supposed to be?
I'm pretty sure that's supposed to be the electric guitar. If it is, then it's probably HEAVILY synthesised in order to fit on the DS. Either that, or it's just an incredibly low pitched synth.
The sample is from “To Get Down” bt Timo Maas
i think it's insane that this song uses 3 different drum tracks
what's the BPM of this song?
I think 140
SICK
Is Channel 14 0:00 the Amen Break?
In terms of the way it’s spliced,
Yes.
But the song that it is sampled from is
“Planet Boogie 2001” by Cut & Paste
