then what's the point of earning a degree when the chances of getting a job are so low, man oh man this system is all jacked up. We need a much better system that actually helps us and not wastes time and resources.
Great video! I actually never heard of or looked into Quant Finance before, but it sounds good because I'm generally a high-performing student and want to take on an accordingly difficult profession, but still in the finance field, so I have a few questions.
I would think a major in Finance and Statistics, like I was thinking of already, would be very beneficial for that; do you think so?
Is there that much coding involved, or is it possible to do it with a few programming classes in college? And by possible I mean like if in the field of Quant Finance, a developer is an example of someone that needs thorough programming skills, but one can easily be a analyst with subpar skills.
What other professions in finance also exist that also require a challenging level of thinking?
if you’re a stats major at a good school you’ll probably learn tons of programming through stats, keep in mind that statistical programming is different than software engineering though
@@cgrondin77 Yeah I was hoping so, I'm not really interested in software engineering
Quants definitely need programming skills, it’s a very strategic role that combines the financial side and math/developers. They predict financial outcomes using models they build.
@@IncomeOverOutcome When I looked into it I saw two roles, Quant developers that develop the software vs Quant analysts, closer to the trading and the money, so just use the complex graphs that developers made. Do you know if that's true?
Thank you so much Hisham 🙏❤ I've learned a looooottt from your channel, thanks again,
Can you make a video about art and design internship? Not willing to give up my dream just yet lmao

I’m considering spending money on a remote internship because I think it will help my application for internships in bigger organizations. Do you think this would be a good idea?
There is no way you land 65k in a year without working in a specific field.....Someone explain this....
Your bruh reaction was perfect for this lol
Do you know some information in legal internships in terms of average salary and what salary’s are good in this field
It is actually more than 28k$ for the 10 weeks, I friend of mine made 32k£
Yea, it’s more than $28,000 for FinTech for 10 weeks. It’s more around $40,000-60,000, and I’m not exaggerating.
bro, I am from india, you just said that 10,000 dollars a month, its just way beyond stipends in india, like companies like google, adobe, DE Shaw, jp morgan, etc etc...., all top tech companies pay max 1300 - 1400 dollars per month which is 7 times less than as compare to stipends in USA. Maybe the profits generated and living conditions are higher there, that may be the reason for it. otherwise its partiality
because cost of living is wayyy higher in US than in India
Can you please do a highest paying internship for highschool students?
