You are right, the cornering lights are excellent. No more chipping off your rims off the curb at night in this car
Wooow never seen this car until now gotta save up & get a vw love da ambient lights 🤯🔥
Great video! Have you noticed the puddle light is actually a golf ball ? :)
Great review!
Wow no buttons on the infotainment!? I never herd of that from EVERY other video on this car!
Excellent Video Presentation! I am actually shopping this car now against a Mazda3 hatchback with a manual transmission. It is difficult to find either one in a manual locally around Chattanooga.
Thanks!
Excellent
Hey can you make a night review on the genesis g80 sport please
These things are so underrated. DAP pulled some dyno numbers from a stock mk8 and it put down about 295whp and 340wtq. stock beast
I’ve wondered if iihs aims the lights or not. So many cars are shimmed with lights aimed super low or one side higher than the other. When my dad god the new at the time 2019 ram 1500 Laramie, it was basically cross eyed.
Is this one different than a mk8 gti from 2020?
What do you mean by reflectors in 0:33?
It’s a type of light housing. Some use “reflection” to spread light and others use “projection”. Usually vehicles that use both reflectors and projectors…have better performance with the projectors. Some reflector headlights do well but typically projector does better
Sorry to bother anyone with my question.... Can anyone explain in simple terms of understanding, the difference for a consumer driving a car with LED Reflectors vs LED Projectors headlamps?
I have always wanted a GTI but it was always out of my price range. Now that I’m older and can actually afford one it sucks that I will need to search for something else based on the infotainment system and steering wheel being so damn ridiculous. My only hope is that they make changes for 2023 but from what I have read there will still be no physical buttons. Guess I’m just to stubborn and old to change over to modern day technology.
It's not that bad, I was scared by the reviews but once I drove it it wasn't a big deal.
It's fine. Just people not wanting change. The only thing that is bad is the controls that do not have a back light.
Bro where are you, u need to try it don't be discouraged by reviews, I once tried using a rental and I almost shed tears returning it
@@opaslifestyle already purchased a Acura Integra. So glad I didn't get the VW !!
This is good man, it's incredible but have you ever take a second to acknowledge that you are driving out in the dark all by yourself? It's insane if you think very carefully about it.
fog light is a rip-off of the previous gen Megane RS
Too much lights for a small car. And then you barely see lights on big or SUV cars.
Trading in my 2021 Corolla LE Upgrade for this in the spring. Gonna get it in black. 💯
They have lights all over the car except for the volume and climate controls 😅
It's a good thing you show us the brake lights. Please NEVER stop doing that for your light reviews. Otherwise due to the presence of amber turn signals no one in their right mind would have assumed VW was stupid enough to use switchback brake/turn signals that switch to amber but disable the brake lights even with ALL that room they could have EASILY used for separate brake lights. That alone is a deal breaker for me. Some engineer(s) actually had to consciously program a BCM that TURNS OFF a brake light for the turn signal. Let that sink in...
