@AceFashui I'm am born and raised here in Arkansas originally from Jonesboro my family moved to Arkansas and I grew up the rest of my life here and when this outbreak happened it was only a couple of months away from my high school graduation I remember looking ahead to this day thinking oh it's just gonna be an average day nothing to hopefully worry about but as I kept tabs and kept looking at updates leading up this event the models kept getting worse and when that day came I was on full alert I wasn't paying any attention to what was happening in class I constantly checked my phone and idk what time they issued the pds tornado watch but I knew that this was serious and noting to look down on so I kept looking on the radar for any warnings when the first tornado warning was issued I was in math class it was on the 3rd floor and the school wasn't far from the tornados path good couple of miles give or take anyways I kept looking at my phone and I realized that it wasn't weakening so before you know it little Rock was placed under a tornado warning the principal came on the intercom and said please take cover we are under a tornado warning I'm sure you did those tornado drills when you were in school but you knew you'd probably never need to use it well I thought that as well anyways back to the story I was freaking out to the point where I thought I was gonna pass out anyways the tornado ended up hitting parts of central Arkansas little Rock and I basically watched in disbelief as it tour its way into and out of little Rock Arkansas even though I wasn't directly impacted I still have dreams about it that day is something that I won't forget and I pray we don't ever live through again thankfully everyone was at work at the time the twister hit it could have been a lot worse
I remember when this happened on the tornado that came through Nashville and into madison going to gallatin. Ryan had read out the names of roads it was about to impact and it was right in our neighborhood. Horrifying to say the least, sent chills down my spine...

It’s currently May 4th, there was several EF-3s that tore through suburbs of Omaha, an EF3 that flattened most of Sulphur Oklahoma, along with parts of Marietta Oklahoma in the EF4 tornado. And now we have a massive supercell headed into the state. Edit: it’s May 6th, 2024. There was a rare High Risk just issued for most of Oklahoma. Today might be a historic day.
I still remember being in the emergency in Shelby County. First time I truely felt my life in danger and now looking back I think I was more justified than I thought.
i live in Roebling NJ and when the remnants of Ida hit us in 2021 the tornados were insane like i’ve never seen before and the reason why i was able to know what was going on was because of ryan when we got the tornado emergency when the EF3? was about to hit us but luckily dissipated right before it hit us. Only person to thank his God🙏
I live in Mississippi. I wasn’t there when this happened. I was in New Orleans with family, and my mom was in Corinth. I never expected this to happen and I’m glad my mom did not have to experience this. I pray for the others who had to go through this.

Our town has been boxed in by 3 tornadoes less than 10 miles away from us, wedged between 2 confirmed tornado warnings with less than a mile from both warnings, and been 5 miles away from a PDS tornado warning. Never once have we been hit. These are rarer than you think.

I really do not get why he stopped the sirens in situations where you want the maximum in viewer attention in truly life threatening events. Now when I watch it's like watching a golf game. "Brad Arnold is up on the 17th hole and has debris." That is what the coverage is like without concentration of viewer focus by sirens. Whoever leaned on him does no public service in neutering the focus of viewers in time of emergency.
Perhaps he just should have lowered the sound of the siren. Sounds like he gets annoyed when talking over it. The loudness of the siren makes it hard to understand what he’s saying if you aren’t paying full attention.

The Deer Park EF3 was very close to my house. Luckily I had no damage.

2:38 is probably the must destructive one that there was. It was rated an EF-4 with 195 mph winds and it decimated Rolling Fork, MS.
