    I really like that flower. I'm not crafting right now as all my crafting things are still packed after moving to my granddaughters and I'm scheduled fro surgery on my rt hand in mid Jan. I've been instructed to not do anything that might inflame my fingers. Anything that hurts, I'm not supposed to do

    This flower looks like a Gerber Daisy. They are so full and pretty. With 2 layers of your material you were able to obtain a very full flower. What is the material that your using? Is it a silk? Tfs :)

    Wow thank you so much for replying. Do you mean before I cut the strips? Maybe I just need more practise. At least I didn't burn the house down!

      Litfromwithin Yes, try doing that before you cut the little strips, then go back after and burnish them again for the sides :) xx

    Fiona If you need a really long needle look up doll making needles. I have several. One is eight inches long. Have fun crafting.

    funny you saying about how you sew leaving it on the needle that is how i have always done it since i was a kid i find it much easier and quicker also i find it helps me keep the spacing even

      Elaine langford-pugh I've never seen anyone until recently sew like that and it is like you say for quickness because you can control the material better lol :) I love this flower as its one of the easiest and quickest flowers to make. hugs Fi xx

      Jennings644 I just love how it is so fluid and the petals look life like.... stunning. I find it easier on needle as makes my arm ache when sewing in normal way xxx

    Ok I tried this, and the satin had frayed so much I spent so much time trying to melt all the loose threads that I burnt a lot lol

      Litfromwithin Try burnishing the material first a little and then finish it off afterwards :) xx

      It may be, but there are some that don't know the rules about copyright and they should... I have my own brand and therefore if anyone copies direct and then sells their work as their own work, they are libel to get sued... The law is the law and it doesn't take much to say where they saw it first and admit THEY didn't come up with it first either! Some people simple take the piss and do whatever they like not think about the legal rules!
