yes from baseline, but these 2 guns add more variety to the game in the form drop shots, volleys and lobs which we have not seen from nole rafa in 2007
Carlos is pure tennis eye candy. He plays comfortably from anywhere on the court. Whenever he plays Sinner, it's a guaranteed blast of dazzling displays of extreme tennis magic. Danil will give Carlos all he can handle. What a final it should be.
These guys, Medvedev, Sinner, Felix AA, play so far behind the baseline that it catches them out. It wouldn't have worked against Agassi or Federer or anyone else who hugs the baseline. In fact Hewitt tried it against Agassi in the US Open and Agassi just kept running them down.
We officially have a Big 3 in tennis, and these three will dominate tennis for the foreseeable future: Djokovic, Medvedev, and Alcaraz. Hoping against hope, Rafa can pull out a win at Roland Garros one last time.
With Rafa, it's a race against injuries. He can't keep going much longer I think. But if he saves himself for RG, never count him out. By the way, where is Rafa Undisputed Goat? :-)
@@blucat4 though Rafa is practically unbeatable on clay lmao 🤣 which no player holds as well as he does on a particular surface djockovic close on hard courts in AO
Man, Sinner disappoints again. Jannik is very much like Iga. If their plan A is working, i.e., dominating the opponents from baseline, they are pretty much unstoppable. But if they come up against resistances like Rybakina and Alcaraz, their plan B isn't good enough to eke out a win. Really hope Sinner can work out his liabilities.
True. He lacks a bit of killer mentality, or even just the "clutch" that Alcaraz or Medvedev have, as well I feel like. That, some better shot selection and maybe improving his net game, and he'll be a much more complete player.
You guys are being quite critical and expecting too much too early tbh. Alcaraz is arguably number 2 right now yet you expect sinner to just win as if its that easy.
@@46wayne8 He’s almost 22 and this isn’t the first time we’ve seen this pattern. In big games he lacks that killer instinct to finish off opponents, this happened last year against the same player in the US Open and against Nole in Wimbledon.

Congrats to both and all the best for the rest of the season. The best player will be crowed the winner and champion. We the audience and spectators will be enjoying a spectacular finals tomorrow.
This season as in 2023? There has been one slam. And it goes to djokovic. The best player this season is still probably djokovic despite being barred from all these events. Carlos v Daniil the best of the rest tbh
@@keshymckesh to be fair Meddy beat Novak this season post the slam so he’s next best after him. Also Carlos beat Nole last year and also won a slam. I’d say Novak, Rafa, Meddy and alcaraz are all in the same league at the moment.
You saw vs Tiafoe that he is weaker against attacking tennis. Yes Medvedev is great against Djokovic, Zverev and SInner, but his defensive game and slower balls are a boon for Carlitos. He loves it when players don't hit that hard. He will have a lot of fun. Will be a fun game but when you give Carlitos too many chances in longer rallies he will usually find the opening. Federrer has a perfect record against Medvedev for the same reason.
Medvedev is playing okay but he almost lost to Zverev this week and has been complaining about the slowness of the court all week too. The court is slow which favors Alcaraz tbh cause Alcaraz is better on slower surfaces on clay. Medvedev definitely can win if Alcaraz is not playing his best but I would favor Alcaraz, who has not dropped a set at all this week.
@@pureffm ahahah when Federer played Daniil last time though? 2019? He’s a different player right now. Good job Carlitos! A third final for this season in as many events he entered . Go get your third masters title . Medvedev match up will be a tough but you still have ur chance. Don't care so much about the no. 1 ranking, its the title haul that counts for me😅
@@pureffmare we talking about the same guy who beat Djokovic and Nadal in two consecutive days, beats Tsitsipas on a regular basis, and won his first Grand Slam in a duel for the number 1 position in the ranking? Sinner needs a more confident attitude in the key points. He was the better player for the first set, other then the key points where Alcaraz raised his game and Sinner dropped off. It's the ability to play better in key points that separates the winners from the talented - Alcaraz just has it.
Sinner is unstoppable on his day, but a player with the variety of Alcaraz can find a way to win. But how do you defeat someone like Alcaraz who has absolutely no weaknesses in his game? There are only two players who can potentially defeat an on-song Alcaraz. One is his opponent tomorrow, and the other person was banned from entering the country :-)
Not the 3 set classic we were hoping for between Carlitos and Sinner but a good match nonetheless. Sinner will be back in a M1000 final soon and Meddy and Carlos will have many more even after this. If Alcaraz stays healthy this season he is gonna cause problems for everyone. But the real question: can he do it in best of 5 against the GOATs? Still have yet to see that. Hopefully we see Alcaraz play Novak or Rafa at FO. A Rafa Alcaraz FO final would be the ultimate "passing of the torch" but obviously Novak and Rafa will want to keep playing another few years if they can stay healthy.
I agree, we HAVE to see Alcaraz play Novak or Rafa at a slam while they are at their peak. This is why it's such a shame the US didn't let Novak play the US Open last year. I'm pretty sure he is playing this year, so lets see what happens ..
@@javiert.592 Rafa's only problem is injury. If he can move, he is at his peak. He beat everyone at the last FO, don't count him out - If he's not injured. Novak is close enough to at his peak, he will beat Alcaraz at the US Open, if they meet.
Carlitos will win. Daniil took so many match points to close it out today against Tiafoe. He’s not looking his best but he’s still good enough to beat Big Foe. Carlitos however is on a different level. He’s gonna make Meddy come to net where we all know that’s his weakness. And that’s how you beat him.
Carlitos was not at his finest during the first set. Only when Sinner decayed, Carlos was able to get his forehand to work. You can not win against Medvedev whithout your forehand clicking. Carlos needs to improve if he wants to prevail, but until now I see Medvedev as favorite.
@@FranciscoHernandez-if1qdYes I will agree Carlitos was not at his best today. But he was well ahead of Tiafoe. And that’s why I think he can beat Medvedev. Also Carlitos can drop shot Meddy all day long. That’s all it takes to beat Meddy. Bring him to the net and you’ll win more often than not.
I don't think Dani boy can beat Sir Garfia but thankyou for providing such a glorious entertainment this season thus far......He has persevered like a cornered tiger who struggled a bit by his standards since his maiden US open title but tiger is back in the wild.....
Alcaraz will take the title his game will trouble Medvedev on this slow court and the fact that the russian machine been playing a lot and the spanish lego kid is fresh is a deciding factor
medvedev got 2 days gap after qf, wont be so tired , he may win or lose, but that wont be because of being tired, he has beaten nole in 3rd consecutive week
Well Alcaraz can play as well on quicker courts where his attacking tennis style and powerful groundstrokes (specially forehand) makes it difficult for his opponent. On the other hand, a very good player like Medeved, should stop complainning so much and analyse how a hard court player as Rybakina beat an excellent clay court specialist player such as Iga in this surface.
I saw the entire match online. In the first set Carlitos didn't play well from the back of the court. Too many unforced errors and not many winners. He managed to win the first set despite not being the best player up untill then. Even though statistics show 17 forehand winners in the whole match, I think Alcaraz's forehand was not as powerful as other times. However Alcaraz's first serve worked quite well during the whole match. So it's nice to see Carlitos's first serve getting better. On the other hand, Sinner's first serve didn't work well, but the Italian's groundstrokes were fine in this match.
The word Awesome is thrown around for no good reason these days. But with Alcaraz game, his power, endurance, speed, skill, sublime feel and touch on the ball and mentality, it is a good time to use that word.
The big problem for others is that Alcaraz is still so young and is still improving significantly. This game with enormously hard blows interrupted by very unpleasant stop balls, wears down his opponents

Alcaraz & Sinner really remind me of the young Nole (Jannik)-Rafa (Carlos) matches for some reason. Feels like I’m back in 2007!
yes from baseline, but these 2 guns add more variety to the game in the form drop shots, volleys and lobs which we have not seen from nole rafa in 2007
Alcaraz is nothing like Rafa.
Sinner's forehand is really a pleasure to watch
All these four are so quick around the court that it's amazing to watch!
¡Vaya partidazo de los dos! ¡Enhorabuena Carlitos!
I think the next match will be called “Unstoppable force vs immovable object”
great title
Carlos is pure tennis eye candy. He plays comfortably from anywhere on the court. Whenever he plays Sinner, it's a guaranteed blast of dazzling displays of extreme tennis magic. Danil will give Carlos all he can handle. What a final it should be.
Actually I predicted str8s. Carlitos is incredible.
No matter who wins, it will be an epic final!
facts!

Hi from Max, Philly USA! Bravo Alcaras! I like your play and very happy for you. I wish you more victoryes and happy moments in your life !
I wondered for many years why the drop shot wasn't used as a weapon and to finally see it used by her and him is sweet especially when it's a winner!
These guys, Medvedev, Sinner, Felix AA, play so far behind the baseline that it catches them out. It wouldn't have worked against Agassi or Federer or anyone else who hugs the baseline. In fact Hewitt tried it against Agassi in the US Open and Agassi just kept running them down.
great final coming up, Alcaraz the fresher of the 2 vs the more experienced med, shoud be a great one!!!
Rooting for Carlitos and Elena today ⚡🔥😍👑 cm'on!
Sinner and Alcaraz are always a blast to watch
Those drop shots 🤤🤤🤤
Alcaraz dropshots are really his secret weapon
yes as his game style is risky and error prone, his proper execution of drop shot is his major strength
El tenis español sigue seguro gracias por todo ALCARAZ
Caaarliiitooos! Vamos! What an artistry in the court. Savory final this is going to be!
We have the Medv alcaraz that we all wanted.
Hope Alcaraz will play his best that should be a awsome battle.
We officially have a Big 3 in tennis, and these three will dominate tennis for the foreseeable future: Djokovic, Medvedev, and Alcaraz.
Hoping against hope, Rafa can pull out a win at Roland Garros one last time.
if rafa retires i hope its a finals between him and djokovic at RG this year.
@@crqz4807 I hope Rafa beats Novak in the 1/4 final like last year or even earlier.
With Rafa, it's a race against injuries. He can't keep going much longer I think. But if he saves himself for RG, never count him out. By the way, where is Rafa Undisputed Goat? :-)
@@blucat4 in my opinion Djokovic is the goat. and statistically he’s pretty match unmatched as the greatest of all time.
@@blucat4 though Rafa is practically unbeatable on clay lmao 🤣 which no player holds as well as he does on a particular surface djockovic close on hard courts in AO
It’s going to be one hell of a final
Man, Sinner disappoints again.
Jannik is very much like Iga. If their plan A is working, i.e., dominating the opponents from baseline, they are pretty much unstoppable. But if they come up against resistances like Rybakina and Alcaraz, their plan B isn't good enough to eke out a win.
Really hope Sinner can work out his liabilities.
True. He lacks a bit of killer mentality, or even just the "clutch" that Alcaraz or Medvedev have, as well I feel like. That, some better shot selection and maybe improving his net game, and he'll be a much more complete player.
Sinner should be won the first set. Then whole game would ve gone different
You guys are being quite critical and expecting too much too early tbh. Alcaraz is arguably number 2 right now yet you expect sinner to just win as if its that easy.
@@ryangeorge1260 “clutch” Medvedev is responsible for one of the biggest chokes in Grand Slam history
@@46wayne8 He’s almost 22 and this isn’t the first time we’ve seen this pattern. In big games he lacks that killer instinct to finish off opponents, this happened last year against the same player in the US Open and against Nole in Wimbledon.
Alcaraz está en un gran nivel❤
What a great tournament this has been all week if you’ve watched. Looking forward to the final
It will be a tough battle tomorrow for both players because Medvedev has god level defense and extracts errors from his opponents, Alcaraz made 30+ of them today against Sinner.. and Carlitos can simply take the game away with his monstrous power and his amazing variety.. it'll be a highly interesting to watch how these two outplay each other!
Wow the two best players so far this season are in the finals in both the men's and women's game. Tennis truly is a consistent and predictable sport. I love how measurable it can be.
@@chessmaster1212 rafa no he did nothing this year he's not been in great form since 2nd part of 2022
What has Rafa done since making semis of Wimbledon he has won 5 matches lost 7 matches
Medvedev is unstoppable right now
Stoppable by Alcaraz
Carlos misses a lot too with his erratic style of play, plus when can’t hit through Daniil, players get frustrated. Daniil’s serve is overlooked too as he can just cruise through his games if his first serve is on point
U was saying
Tiafoe is showing nice progress! 👏👏👏
Medvedev vs Alcaraz? Delightful 👌
Since I have read ugly comments about Rafa wearing pink I was so glad to see Carlos in Pink. Both Spain's greats!
Both Finaliats have high tennis IQ and special skillsets. It probably a splendid match.
What a final!
Carlos have every quality to become a champion.
I mean he already is a champion?
What? He won a slam already.
All finalists are already champions, they have won GS. But in the men´s final, both of them have been number 1 in the rankings, so the thrill is even bigger.
He’s already won a slam ha ha
@@colethomas903 Novak wasn't playing, he won that slam by beating only Ruud as highest ranking player and only top 10...Come on you can't think it is that significant...
Good job Carlitos! A third final for this season in as many events he entered . Go get your third masters title . Medvedev match up will be a tough but you still have ur chance. Don't care so much about the no. 1 ranking, its the title haul that counts for me😅
#1 is just a bonus for me I agree title is way more important
For me it is just about beating a top 10. He desperately needs a win against Medvedev, Zverev. Fritz, Rublev and Rune to establish himself at the top.
@@pureffmare we talking about the same guy who beat Djokovic and Nadal in two consecutive days, beats Tsitsipas on a regular basis, and won his first Grand Slam in a duel for the number 1 position in the ranking? I don't think he needs a victory on top 10 players, frankly. But if he beats THIS Daniil, he will surely prove he's worth again of the first place in the ranking.
Are u really saying Fritz and Rublev u lost me
If u said Djokovic only u got me
Exactly I agree with you
Sinner needs a more confident attitude in the key points. He was the better player for the first set, other then the key points where Alcaraz raised his game and Sinner dropped off. It's the ability to play better in key points that separates the winners from the talented - Alcaraz just has it.
Great semifinals! Now the two even greater finals to come...
Sinner is unstoppable on his day, but a player with the variety of Alcaraz can find a way to win. But how do you defeat someone like Alcaraz who has absolutely no weaknesses in his
game?
There are only two players who can potentially defeat an on-song Alcaraz. One is his opponent tomorrow, and the other person was banned from entering the country :-)
True. Medvedev will use all the tricks in the book to win, and Djokovic will refuse to lose :-)
Sinner has beaten Alcaraz before, he can do it again
Il y a toujours une faille.
A Rafa Alcaraz FO final would be the ultimate "passing of the torch" but obviously Novak and Rafa will want to keep playing another few years if they can stay healthy.
of course he can do it..also love how "we ve yet to see that" about a guy thats fucking 19 years old
I agree, we HAVE to see Alcaraz play Novak or Rafa at a slam while they are at their peak. This is why it's such a shame the US didn't let Novak play the US Open last year. I'm pretty sure he is playing this year, so lets see what happens ..
@@nunoguimaraesdeassuncaoefe8419 Rafa is not at their peak, but I think Djokovic still is. Rafa's footwork is not any more what it used to be.
@@nunoguimaraesdeassuncaoefe8419 Novak is close, he will beat Alcaraz if they play at the US Open, which of course is not guaranteed.
Dani Boy and Sir Garfia, lol. Oh Dani Boy, the Al, ca, raz, is call-ing .. 🙂
@@blucat4 Raz-matt-az-z of Sir Garfia is a sight to behold.......
Carlos genius! 19 years old remember.
Alcaraz will take the title his game will trouble Medvedev on this slow court and the fact that the russian machine been playing a lot and the spanish lego kid is fresh is a deciding factor
Is medvedev 45 years old ??????
Medvedev will win you all win regret
medvedev got 2 days gap after qf, wont be so tired , he may win or lose, but that wont be because of being tired, he has beaten nole in 3rd consecutive week
@@raghumanda2tanush496 well he lost in AO 2022 because he was literally stuffed after the first 2 sets and Nadal dragged him into a marathon
Medvedev vas Alcaraz in the final. It couldn’t get any better !!!
Love both the players in the WTA and ATP finals here, wish there could be 4 winners
Alcaraz claps his hands like a flamenco dancer
Yup
Como se crece Carlitos que final nos espera.
Alcaraz vs Sinner. El nuevo clásico del tenis 🔥
Again those killer drop shots
I was quite inert about Tiafoe but what he did at the end of second set...Guy has some serious mental strength with those drop shots.
Wonderful Carlos
I love watching Medvedev one of the most exciting, talented guys on tour. I can't help thinking whilst watching that his career will end early with back issues. He spends half his matches bent down retrieving balls.
I prayed for this final, gonna be good fellows!

Pedazo de final la que nos espera. Carlitos tendrá de destapar el frasco de las esencias para derrotar a un Daniil intratable ¿Quien da mas?
In terms of fire power, Sinner is right up there, but misses more dimensions to his game, like Alcaraz has with drop shots, lobs and the tactical element.
Looking forward to this match. I gotta root for Medvedev as he's my fav player.

If Djokovic had taken part in Indian Wells tourney, it would have been a different type of adrenaline in this prominent event. I was surmising how the absence of Novak Djokovic affects the movement of Indian Wells. Moreover, we will watch Alcaraz, Medvedev, Zverev and Sinner at the foreground excluding Novak Djokovic.
