That tag could potentially be a crematorium tag, that would have been with ashes that someone spread in the water, although I'd expect it to have the name of the crematorium along with a number. When i find them, I toss them out further in the water. Also double check those black necklaces, I know they'll almost always be junk, but there's a new trend in jewelry - black gold, where a gold chain is treated in various ways to make it appear black ... ya, I don't know why anyone would want to do that either.
I think the mystery target is a tag for an old hotel room key. I find those once in awhile and have a collection of them. Sucks the beaches are sanded back in. This year hasn't been a good one for hunting. My ring count for this year is currently 40 and most of that has been junk.

That's so nice to hear!!! I usually find a LOT more trash than you see in the videos! As for my treasure collection, I've had a few people ask to see it. I'll put something up one of these days. I have my first 7 years of detecting finds still packed away in a box from my last move. It'll be fun to open it up and be reminded of all of the awesome adventures I've been on!

Lived in Sarasota from 2007 to 2016. I know those beaches sooo well, now live in Chicago and miss the beauty down there.

That's very possible. There were a number of old hotels at that location that are no longer there!

Someone had mentioned that there used to be lockers that you could rent for the day. It may have been a locker keychain
