Trosa. Swedish Panties.

About 72 km south of Stockholm lies a charming town with a name you may already know. I remember the first time I was here 17 years ago with my friends. It was then that the Harvest and Craft Fair was held, which attracts about 20,000 people every year to participate.
The town itself has a population of just over 7,000, so when tourists come here it can get quite crowded. But that's not a problem, because the town is bustling with tourists during the summer anyway.
Trosa is a very popular seaside resort. In addition, the town's location makes it an ideal place for sailing.
Sweden is a beautiful country with a rich culture, history, wonderful nature, and places and things whose names don't necessarily describe their form or essence in themselves. A few examples: strawberry in Swedish is jordgubbe, which loosely translates to earthly grandfather, orka / späckhuggare is a fat cutter, bat is a fluttering mouse, hippopotamus is a river horse and octopus is an ink fish. Cool, right? That's not all. Sometimes you come across places whose names were probably given under the influence of substances of unknown origin. Kukasjärvi means maybe and I won't translate it literally because I would have to use an ugly word. We can say that it's a penis lake. Porrarp can be translated to a porn estate. So our Polish Swornegacie, Piekło, Gwizdaj, or Męcikał are not as unique as they might seem. What do Swedish pants look like? Where did the name of this town come from? What does Trosa really mean?
