      I think timestamps are great after you've watched the entire podcast and want to return to a specific moment. Bur if you haven't watched yet you risk skipping over interesting and funny moments just because you don't feel intrigued by the title of the section.
      I used timestamps a few podcasts ago to skip over parts that I thought wouldn't interest me but then I discovered there were moments I've missed in the conversation that I actually end up enjoying :)

      I agree completely, I feel like this should be a thing more, since I want to rewatch certain moments of old podcasts as well and it takes me forever to either find the timestamp in the comments or just scroll through the video, eventually giving up and closing it

    Blaine, or Blaine's great uncle, were absolutely right. that's how we get the phrase "graveyard shift". Before we had heart monitors they would have a wake. The wake would be people loudly partying around the body in hopes to wake them up or reaffirm that they're dead. However sometimes they would bury the living and they would wake up buried alive and scratch the coffin. When this was discovered they would put bells above ground with a string leading into the coffin and someone would have to tend the graveyard to listen for the bells. That's why they call it the graveyard shift.

    The buried alive thing is real. It's actually where the phrase "saved by the bell" comes from. They found a scratch marks on the inside of lots of coffins so they started putting bells above the grave that would be connected to a string in the coffin. If the gravekeeper heard a bell they could go check and dig up the person who was buried. #savedbythebell

    1:13:45 it's so weird to hear that two-three years later and thinking that he was completely correct. It hasn't been over, and it won't be over until we get a competent president. When I first heard this podcast I wasn't that worried about it, I was a dumb kid, and to an extent I still am. Although I think now I've learned to be worried about this stuff now.

    the part about being buried alive was something that actually happened. There were some instances where a string would be tied to a persons arm and run up through ground and tied to a bell. Someone would sit by their grave for the night and if the bell rang they would dig the person up.

    It's interesting seeing these guys feel this way back then, and to see how their beliefs have changed and they've radicalized with the times. I'm glad to see that people grow and can move from this relatively moderate stance to where RT is now politically when presented with the evidence. Really smart guys.

    The solar roadways were not a scam, they were approved by the highway association and given a chance to present a demo which is currently up and running and impressing all that visit.

      Devildog Cipher impressing??? half of them are not working and they are not even harvesting enough power to run their own lights. the lights are not even visible during the day, so they are useless as lane markings. So to sum up... energy debt, 50% failure in a short space of time, expensive and useless markings.... and you are impressed???

    • @DevildogCipher
      @DevildogCipher 8 років тому
