Hi, I just finished my LED and HID headlight, the night mode is perfect but when I turn on the day time running light, the headlight begins hyper flash, it flashes really quike. do you know how to solve it???? I have Toyota Rav4 LE, which same as yours. Thank you so much!!
Hello. did you put HIDs in the low beam and then put LEds in the Turn signal/DRL's? if so, you need to add resistors to to the LEDS to prevent hyperflashing. Is it the HIDS in the LOW beams that are hyperflashing?
you are right! HIDS in the low beam is hyper flashing when I turn lights on to the "DRL=daytime running light" mode, so do I need to add two more 6 ohm 12V resistors on each side?? Thank you so much!!
Hey there, That is very strange. I have never heard of that happening before. I've done so many HID kits in different cars and have never seen that happen before. I really dont know what could cause that. I would check the Polarity of the ballasts. By that I mean rotating the connectors 180 degrees before plugging them in. It is possible that your HID bulbs or ballasts are defective from the factory also. I have heard of that before. I would check with whoever sold them to you and see what they think. I hope you are able to solve this issue. I would like to hear what the solution is if you remeber to come back afterwards. Thank you!
THat happens because the DRl on some models simply send less power to the headlight bulbs to act as the DRL, so to fix that, you need to install the relay harness .
I see that you used a canbus ballast which alot of newer vehicle use now. Did you have to use a relay harness with the install or did you buy one just in case? I have a 2017 Volkswagen Passat & some tell me I need it & some tell me I can use the relay harness with the canbus ballast. Did they mention that to you?
Yes they will work. If you have a newer vehicle they use the new canbus ballast. If you don't have a newer vehicle you can just buy the relay harness resester so that the light don't flicker or you don't get any errors codes on the dash.

Dat shadow in d middle is because of dat white thing dat is on d bottom of d bulb i had it n I put it to d top n was ok but ur bulb has an angle
