So here's a guy who took over a trainwreck and you expect him to fix it in a season. We never did have a starting QB and the ones we have are injured. You can blame him for a lot sure. And a lot of it is rookie mistakes. Gruden was afforded those mistakes, so has a lot of other coaches. AP speaks to men. He don't hide what he's thinking and I like that. Those guys in the locker room know this is a business, so instead of patting them on the back for poor performance, why not motivate them and call them out. We lost Devante not because of AP, but because Minshew couldn't throw more than 20 yds down field. Devante's routes are more than 20 yds, so he was never getting the ball.

Cut the bs guy! Our team is trash. AOC was a below average QB last season in which he did not get much better this year. It did not help the situation when Tom Telesco brought in a QB that may be worse than AOC in Minshew. On top of that, Adams (probably the best player on offense) did not want to be a Raider anymore and was traded. Also, lets not talk about the bootleg offensive coordinator in Getsy that Tolesco wanted as he missed out on the coordinator AP wanted in Kliff Kingsbury.

The starting QB decision was made in support of the OC’s influence. The Raiders went with that decision based upon request. If the OC has his choice of starter and it doesn’t work, there is a different level of accountability. And the QB is being paid significantly.

It did not help the situation when Tom Telesco brought in a QB that may be worse than AOC in Minshew. On top of that, Adams (probably the best player on offense) did not want to be a Raider anymore and was traded. Also, lets not talk about the bootleg offensive coordinator in Getsy that Tolesco wanted as he missed out on the coordinator AP wanted in Kliff Kingsbury.

The starting QB decision was made in support of the OC’s influence. The Raiders went with that decision based upon request. If the OC has his choice of starter and it doesn’t work, there is a different level of accountability. And the QB is being paid significantly.

I mean, Jerod Mayo was a linebacker coach for 4 years and is now the Patriots HC. These things happen in the modern era when you have GM's and owners who refuse to give established coaches more than 1-2 years to rebuild.
