Monza , one of my favorite racer's . An awesome street racer . #1 thing , He cares more about his son's feelings than winning a race. I saw that in an episode , Brandon thought he failed his dad , but his dad was proud of him no matter what. That says a lot about his character.
thats why i hardly watch it. they did episodes making his son look like the biggest asshole to where he didnt even want to be on the show anymore and later find out it was just how the show edited it. They put so much drama that i honestly dont like into it. Plus its not even street racing anymore its just a prepped track that looks like a road.
His son does act like a dirtbag. Camera don't lie

Just watched that clip of Brandon freaking out over tuning and thinking Monza didn't have confidence in him. Just to beat Daddy Dave. 405 got a lot of good men in it. That's rare thing nowadays.

Monza did what he said he would do.
He charged setups from nitrous to twin turbo’s and he said he’s doing this to get
the #1 spot in the 405 top ten list and hopefully his Dad was still alive to see it.

Its just Dad and his son as a team. I know that one episode where Dad mad a hell of a lick but just came up short and son was really down on himself thinking he let his dad down as the tuner. Ol' pops comes up even losing which didn't matter to him and lifted up his sins spirits letting him know he did a great job. That's a good father and that was my favorite part over there race.

I was a fan of Monza from the first season. Haven’t watched in a few years.
Anybody who’s watched this show from the beginning knows that monzas son use to be a mouthy little punk. I couldn’t stand the kid. Now he’s kind calm and respectful. Monza was always one of my favorite racers, much respect for him and his son building such a fast car by themselves.
