Used to listen to this back when I was in high school. Was mesmerized by the music and animation. I’m 32 now and for some reason remembered this song once again. After hours of googling, I finally rediscovered this fantastic masterpiece by searching “Brazil music video monkey sailing.” Thank you for putting this song and video together.
OH, I’m in absolute LOVE with all the imagery; guitar strings turning to boat lines, to spider webs, AGH! Gorgeous, the whistling mends it all together under that gorgeous strumming, then the singing is like a humming, a dream. There really is a movie in every song from you all!

There is a part of the lyrics in english that though portuguese seems to be more eloquent most of times, it catches me so much... it is "Brazil, where hearts were entertaining June". June is a very important month in the cultural history of our people and it has a holiday party across th country with Forró (music genre marked by the struggle of poor states during drought).
