Hi, I love what you have done to your genius. Would you be able to do a video on how to set up the software prontaface and how to use and connect to the printer. Thank you..
very instructional video. thank you! does anyone know if by adding cooper plated nozzle (trianglelab) is enough to raise temperature above 240 degrees, or other parts should be upgraded also?
Hello, the BL Touch of my Artillery Genius Pro give my ERROR M999 so the extruder does not go down when I want to level the plate. what can I do? Thanks
Hello, for the Genius Pro Touch, to be honest- I dont know for sure. At the original BL Touch there ist a little srew on the top of the BL Touch, which can be moved a few degrees maybe 5-30 (so very less), clockwise or counterclockwise - need to be tested which is working better. In plus, you can pull down the needle very carefully down a bit, make a M999 by terminal to reset the sensor - which should result in moving up the needle again. Like I said, I'm not sure if this will work for the Genius Touch sensor. Of course, there is also the possibility to create a support ticket at the Artillery Website. The support is very good for a Chinese company.
Hello, I dont use the filament sensor - I dont like them anyway. If you plug out the sensor and power off / power on the printer, it won't be detected anymore.
What do you do about the power supply's cooling? That part is super sensitive to heat and if it doesn't have anywhere to exude that heat it will break quickly. How did you get over that issue with the Platsa?
I do not have cooling problems with my power supply inside platsa. I have at the moment 4 Printers inside Platsa, 1 Sovol, 2 Artillery and 1 Creality. 3 of them was already printing last summer (some 3 day prints) with 30 degrees room temperature under the roof - in summer I did open the Platsa door 2cm, to avoid heat build-up inside the Platsa. The temperature on the bottom (where the power supply is getting cold air) is arround 40 degrees while printing PETG and around 45 while printing ASA with 110 degree bed temp at room temp arround 22 degree with door closed. Of course I can't guarantee something - but for me it is working very well. The Platsa ist not hermetically sealed... By the way, I have smoke detection with WLAN and cell phone push to have a better feeling.
Hello, I placed it with my modifications behind the printer on the right side, parallel to the rear of the printer base. So the filament have at less as possible resistance, move along to the top and back down to the extruder.
@@3dprintpassion Do your spool stand thingieverse designs also work with the regular Artillery Genius? I am VERY interested in implementing your setup on my Artillery Genius. Hence all the questions.
Hello, the part to place on the top, will fit. The ABS topper design looks like 100% the same. I do not have the old spool holder from classic version anymore, but as far I remember there is also no difference. I think it should work.
excellent video, thank you!
Very good video :) appreciate it
Thank you 🙂

Thank you..
Hi, yes of course - I will create a quick tutorial for it.
one question. The power supply does not suffer thermal impact when you insert the printer in that case?
very instructional video. thank you!

Platsa link?
03:47 How can I access the terminal console?

@@3dprintpassion Thank you very much, I'll try .... I contacted support but they didn't give me any advice
Hey I've got a question regarding the heating bed: is it (like on the genius) still a problem with the uneven heated bed?
I think its the same like most printers, but you dont feel it anymore because of the ABL Sensor.
How did you setup the filament sensor, in both the positioning on the spool holder and in terms of the electrical wire?
Hello, I dont use the filament sensor - I dont like them anyway. If you plug out the sensor and power off / power on the printer, it won't be detected anymore.

But if you were to use it, how would you go about it?
To be honest, I did not checked. Maybe the best way is to find a new way for the cable, not going to the top of the printer, but going sideways.
