Honda Amaze VX MT 1.5 Diesel is the diesel variant in the Honda Amaze lineup and is priced at ₹ 10.62 Lakh.It returns a certified mileage of 24.7 kmpl. This VX MT 1.5 Diesel variant comes with an engine putting out 98 bhp @ 3600 rpm and 200 Nm @ 1750 rpm of max power and max torque respectively.
Honda Amaze E Diesel is the base diesel variant in the Amaze lineup and is priced at Rs. 9.01 Lakh (ex-showroom, Coimbatore).Honda Amaze E Diesel is available in transmission and offered in 5 colours : Radiant Red Metallic, Platinum White Pearl, Lunar Silver Metallic, Golden Brown Metallic and Meteoroid Grey Metallic.
Price: Honda retails the Amaze from Rs 6.63 lakh to Rs 11.50 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).
Variants: It is offered in three trims: E, S, and VX.
Boot Space: The sub-4m sedan offers a boot capacity of 480 litres.
Engine and Transmission: The Amaze can be had with two engine choices: a 1.2-litre petrol engine (producing 90PS and 110Nm) and a 1.5-litre diesel engine (making 100PS and 200Nm). Both are paired to a five-speed manual transmission and an optional CVT transmission. The diesel CVT variant has a reduced power output of 80PS and 160Nm than its manual counterpart.
Features: The Amaze comes loaded with amenities such as auto-LED projector headlights, LED fog and tail lights, and 15-inch dual-tone alloy wheels. It also gets a seven-inch touchscreen, cruise control, and paddle shifters (CVT only).
Safety: Passenger safety is taken care of by dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors, a rear-view camera and ISOFIX child seat anchors.
Rivals: The subcompact sedan goes up against the Tata Tigor, Hyundai Aura and the Maruti Suzuki Dzire.

How DSG gearbox is not reliable. With proper maintenance and usage, it will be a reliable one.
