I don't think it will work on menus (maybe it does but you can't do anything beside taking a photo I guess), and on normal play that exclamation mark has been removed for a while now.

We can now hide the UI, so I don't have to see the exclamation point over the character button which punishes me for not C6-ing Bennett.

You can just remove it by going to his constellation page and pressing on his c6 though.
