I am just turning 72 and have loved many genres of music throughout my life. Being a 60’s/70’s girl, rock is up there. I happened upon One Ok Rock and I am obsessed with there music! First of all, they are incredible musicians. Each and everyone of them are so creative and dynamic. Taka is a force. His lyrics, voice and passion for what he sings is mesmerizing. It is hard to try and watch Toru, Tomoya, Ryota and Taka all at the same time and not miss something. I know I may look out of place, but I can’t wait to take in there all encompassing show in Toronto.
I went to their concert in Düsseldorf last Saturday and they are on FIRE this year! (they always are lol) - I wish you a lot of fun at their Toronto gig! So amazing to see that you love them! Music is for everyone, no matter how old, no matter where we're from, no matter what! ♥
I really really love this band. Taka's statements have an extreme influence, so what he said on Instagram motivated young generation in Japan. It was big issue that young ppl don't have any interest in politics (because half given up) so government doesn't invest enough for young generation. But because of his statement , young generation has started to stand up for their right and pay attention to the politics. Love how he does care about young generation and their future. It's kind a taboo that musicians talk about politics but he doesn't care. I truly respect this band.
I think your opinion is correct. In Japan, singers rarely speak publicly about politics or politicians. However, TAKA recently spoke out about politicians. I was very surprised. I think TAKA is a courageous and proactive person. I think his actions will have a positive influence on young people in Japan🇯🇵

Ace song by an ace band. Are you going to see them at Wembley Arena in October? Will be interesting to see this song done live. I think it will fit the story well as the theme song for the fourth Kingdom movie which is out in Japan but us Brits will have to wait a little longer to see it.
