    I love finding real old gems like that at yard sales, or etc. old old 1960’s and older. Real cool stuff man!

    Many times I can’t tell a widget from a whirligig. But I very much appreciate hearing about the manufacturing history of the tools. Thanks for sharing your knowledge.

    Had some Billings tools years ago, but sadly they got away from me. Great review. It brings back some fun memories. Ty.

    Billings also had a contact with craftsman in the 30’s I have a lot of Billings tools in my collection and I have a few Billings spencer and co wrenches and I love them

    Good info and comparison. I'm wondering if Billing used better materials, the bending won't occur as easily. Seems like there are a couple of companies are making Billings style wrenches that look pretty good.

    I have a couple of these. Would never use them however. These are too bulky and they like to open/close while using them.

      I need to properly restore mine still, but I find the jaws open way wider than the same size crescent until you get into the extra wide channellock wideazz and bahcos.

    The small is called a bicycle wrench I restored a cupple of them

      And the next size up was called an automotive wrench and then the largest was called a locomotive wrench.
