If you ever listened to the French...or more like Russian chansons, or romances...you'd know where she exactly came from...I'd like to compare her (although I don't like this kind of comparisons) with the great Italian folker Domenico Modugno, because of her teathetrical approach to the song...But, regardless of her roots, her musical influences and such...this kid owns everything to become the world's greatest! Maybe 'Diana' sounds different to you because she is not singing in her native Russian tongue, this is sung in French. Different Languages mean you'll get totally different vowel & consonant sounds & pronunciation, overall the two languages, though both beautiful have completely different sounds.
