- Potholder weaving is a creative way to repurpose unused clothes into useful kitchen items. By cutting old shirts or fabric into strips (t-shirt yarn), you can weave potholders using a potholder loom or a makeshift frame. This process gives new life to clothes that might otherwise be thrown away.
These DIY woven potholders are eco-friendly and add charm to any kitchen while reducing textile waste.

✅ Potholder Loom:
Frame size is 10 x 10 inches with 15 nails on each side. The gap on each nail is 1.5 cm.
✅ Crochet Hook:
For making a crochet hook, you can repurpose an old metal hanger by bending it to shape. This DIY approach allows you to create a customized tool for crocheting without needing to buy new materials.
Special thanks to:
Sherie Rose Rivero for the unused clothes
Biemar Astudillo for the potholder loom

Stay connected. Thanks for watching the potholder weaving tutorial.
I don't have that weaving machine. I thought it could be done by hand.
Hi Suzie! Yes, you can still do this by hand even without the potholder loom or weaving loom. One alternative is using a cardboard then cut the sides where you can insert the strings. I can send you the pattern if you want. :)
