Theme from ALL THE WRONG SPIES【我愛夜來香】OST (Piano Cover)

All The Wrong Clues / 鬼馬智多星 / 夜來香 (1981) and All The Wrong Spies / 我愛夜來香 (1983) were two of the most memorable comedies of the 80's for me. I can't count how many times I must have watched them on VHS tapes, and then later played them for my children. They were some of the best selling movies made by Cinema City (also produced Aces Go Places, A Better Tomorrow and many more box office hits in the 80's), first directed by Tsui Hark (徐克) then Teddy Robin (泰迪羅賓) for the sequel.
George Lam (林子祥), then one of the top singers in Hong Kong, made a surprising great performance in both comedy films, with Teddy Robin in his famous detective role. Brigette Lin (林青霞) made a stunning appearance, as a relatively new star in Hong Kong film, crossing over from her successful movie career in Taiwan. She has just recently received the Golden Horse Awards in Lifetime Achievement in Taiwan, the most prestigious award in Chinese cinema. Congrats to her !!
The soundtrack was also impressive, first made by Teddy Robin in 1981 then Chris Babida (鮑比達) for the sequel in 1983. George Lam wrote quite a few of the theme songs, including this one 幾段情歌 (A Few Love Songs) which I have made a piano and strings -only version based on Chris Babida's beautiful arrangement. I hope you like it.
