That's why the bgm is less of a heated battle and more of a solemn feeling...
@The Bard of Valhalla Exactly, Kiana and gang fight Kevin because they don't want that foreseeable heavy price of project Stigma, while Kevin fight them because he don't want to know the unforeseeable price human must pay when facing Finality, just because not going through Project Stigma.

Once upon the time he once smiled and laughed like kiana, but no miracle came to him or his comrades who died one by one.

Yes'nt, it's the very end of the game and being by kiana's side instead of watching her is more emotional to me, but at least a little more wouldn't have hurt

kevins story is once again the take of the villain arcs but they some how keep them so original
otto wanted to be beat because it was part of his plan, we were playing into otto's hands all along
kevin wanted to be surpassed so humanity could reach higher than him... in a way its two takes of complete villains, both tragic in their own way but their deaths were the most complete thing about them

They even made mei and bronya fighting in the first part while you controlled Kiana, things that you just realized when watching, very nice
This battle is the most epic boss fight.. I play it. Excited and goosebumps a lot 😊

oh wow, i didnt even notice that til just now, i was so obsessed with noticing it being a nod to KH3 that it slipped my mind
I think this is really the point when we get to understand Kevin the most.
In the Elysian Realm, we got a peek into his past comrades, but never really into him. It just showed what he lost, but not what drives him to still go against the Cocoon of Finality.
Part of me thinks that the only reason he did anything anymore after his era’s end was simply obsession. There was no reason in his actions, in terms of rationality, from what I see.
All that really was left of Kevin at the final boss was his identity as an overpowered hero who exists to save the world, and I think he knew that.
A cool detail in the fight that since he have some Finality authority, he canceled kiana Ultimate global time fracture 17:06
Late reply but the reason he kept going was probably because he was really pissed/frustrated with how their era ended. He thought that if he worked hard, he'd be able to protect everyone, especially Mei, but they all died/are lost(in space) and the only one "alive" from his era had forgotten most of their time together (Fu Hua). He just wanted to make sure that the death of his friends won't be in vain and that their deaths would have meaning instead of just being a bunch of forgotten heroes from the past. He also just didn't want to disappoint his friends, Elysia specifically, and show them that they were right in putting their trust on him(which is tbh, he's just being too hard on himself, FC members already know he did his best and it wasn't his fault)
I was looking for my name in the list while fighting Kevin.

The baseball bat is a kaslana family favourite weapon. Kiana, Kevin and sieg have been using it since god knows how long. Trailblazer confirmed part of the kaslana family?🤔
@@smallpp8891 Well as I advanced farther into the game, his weapon changed. What's weirder is that it was a random baseball bat he found and started using. It was in the Herta Space Station. What a weird place for that to be in lol
@@Flamelance_Accendo You can still use the baseball bat though. Just like how kiana's weapon varied to guns and swords, yet in this fight it's a baseball bat.

He used everything he had, that was the point.
Because he didn't. He was testing them, and they passed. That's why the trio couldn't beat him without the help of everyone else and the Captains.

Natasha is the real name of raven, Cocolia still alive in Hi3, and the other seele is alter ego seele

@@jlee2302 These characters are all present in the hi3 story actually. Cocolia in this game is still alive, she usef to run an orphanage and is basically seele and bronya’s “mother”. She is the villain for i think 2 chapters in this game. Natasha is a mercenary in this game and works for an organization called gray serpent. She’s half a villain but not really i think and she goes by the code name raven. Seele is a relevant character in this game and is technically the mc for the current part of the story. She also has an alter ego inside her which is also called seele that’s why the game says seele twice. I am not sure about amber though but these characters all play a role in the Honkai impact story and are originally from this universe before star rail happened. There are other relevant characters im Honkai impact that are in star rail too like Himeko, Bronya and Li sushang.
