Lol, it's the first thing I hear in my head everytime the Ferris wheel shows up.
Cry Evrytim is Chernobyl actually the place in cod 4?? I'm curious...?
Cloaker
Although with a fictional layout, the game includes the abandoned town of Pripyat near the Chernobyl powerplant in one mission.
Cloaker Yep

Imagine; after the explosion, there was a problem, which if not solved would cause 10x more radiation all across Europe and into parts of Canada and the United States. But unfortunately, there was only one way to solve it, which involved swimming into the depths of radioactive water, directly under the reactor, opening up a drain to let the water out, and then climbing back up. Sounds terrifying right? But, fortunately for all of us today, 4 men made the ultimate sacrifice, and completed this mission, leaving loved ones and family behind, knowing that if no one did it, the world would face a grim future. They were called the "Chernobyl Divers", and were awarded for this great act. Unfortunately, they were so radioactive, that they all perished, within two weeks. It's because of them, that Europe and parts of the United States and Canada aren't vastly affected by this tragedy. May they rest in peace, and may God be with them.
Stephtastic! 😢

Chernobyl is hauntingly beautiful
i thought so too
Thats cause it looks just like call of duty 4, the original not the hideous remastered one.
It does and i would love to take the trip tgere

carlos valdes Radiation. There was an accident many years ago. Humans can’t go there.
@@travelerguide1251 On April 26 1986, A nuclear powerplant named Chernobyl, blew up, the cause was poor designing, The communist dictators rushed the people so they had to build it fast, they were doing a test, when the reactor overheated due to the fans being shut off. The 4th reactos blew up becoming EXTREMELY radioactive, 300 times the same amount safe to humans, the soviets didnt want to alarm people, so they kept it silent not giving any details, causing people to become radioactive, They tried to fill it with water, causing the hot granite to make it steam, also making the radiation into clouds, They finally evacuated the city in the footage and abandoned it, The cloud however went to Europe, causing radiation, a powerplant checked to see radiation and saw that it was high, they thoigut it was theirs, but they noticed it came from russia. They wanted answers, the soviets only told them there was a "minor" accident. Causing manyd deaths, finnaly they told the truth and fixed it after alot, Chernobyl is still highly radioactive, giving things poison, killing them slowly.
That's one hell of a radioactive drone now...
Actually it isn't, the radiation in the air has reduced a lot since the explosion and it is relatively safe to move, especially in the air.
Not really
I'm your 86 like for 1986!!!
@@oskariranta1122 yes have hear that but think they afraid go back?
radiation levels are still dangerous to live there, but for visiting it short time is ok. people have radiometers, they make trips to visit the ruins.

This reminds me of when I worked at this big cement plant which closed suddenly in 2008 during the economic meltdown and all the workers pretty much had to all leave in one day and they locked it up. 10 years later when I worked there they were opening one silo for storage but the plant itself hadn’t been touched in a decade. You could walk back there and see trees and vegetation growing through everywhere, everything once of color had turned grey and rusted, things people had been using were just left in the same place they’d been put down...like the whole place had been frozen in time.
Was that the Eastgate cement plant in Weardale which now looks exactly how you described...?

youdontknowme08001 omg i had to laugh at ur comment but very true 😱😱
You can walk around in there. Tours are given there all the time
Robert White you can't walk everywhere, some of the places are really really radioactive, at some places you can't even be 2 minutes..
the deaper you get into the exclusion zone the more exposed to radiation you get
Actually it happenend one time. A guy had to climb to the top of the ferris wheel to retrieve the drone. Pretty crazy I think.
This is some professional drone skills. Love the footages!
Wow it looks stunning. It's like an apocalyptic place.
And one more thing, am I the only one seeing Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare content in the video? For those who know COD4MW, remember the mission with Cpt.Mc.Millan and Cpt.Price? That church in the woods I swer to god is the one from 4MW. I'm just saying
That mission took place in Pripyat. They did a really good job with attention to detail. Of course the game added a few things, but yeah. All Ghillied Up takes place in Pripyat.
Cool :)
Lots of people died there and you are just commenting about that this reminds you of call of duty
We know lots of people died, 2 people as a cause of the immediate explosion, and 29 the following few days. Many more have died since then. I was just telling him a COD mission does take place in Pripyat.
ya, in All Ghillied Up and in One Shot one Kill you explore chernobyl. IW probably traveled to Chernobyl to add some elements (the ferris wheel, etc.)
I don't know why i'm criying..but it makes me so sad ..
Yea me too when i think of poor families who lived there and they all died......):
I love how they copied this map in CoD4 like its so realistic like Cpt.Macmilla said: 50Thousand people used to leave in this city now it's a ghost town I've never seen anything like it 1:40 This is the one the map on Cod4 wow it literally looks just like it

i guess Pripyat was meant to rot and decay it’s very sad to see and the city will be remembered by everyone that watches this video i hate to see Pripyat abandoned like that i hope the city will be habitable again sometime in 20,000 years it may take time but the city may be rebuilt.

I have one thing to say , It's so so beautiful drone images and the music in the back ground really told the story by heart.
Very nice, hope your drone did not collect too much rads on the flight..
Drone probably got binned after that
there isn't much rads in the air except in certain zone, the danger is on the ground, object and dust are extremly radioactive, for exemple the Ferris wheel (or big wheel if you are from uk) is extremly radioactive

The World Is Not My Home
It's Our Home
We Are All One
One Planet
One Humanity
. I was one of the residents living near Prometheus square. I have come to visit my uncle there. He worked as a water pump operator in reactor no.1. At that night, my uncle’s phone rang that the work was cancelled for him the following morning. I could hear people talking down. We hurried downstairs to the lobby where people were making their way to the very famously known-Bridge of death. We went there and saw the fire brigade trucks on every road we crossed, hurrying towards the NPP. When we reached the bridge of death, there was fire fuming in the power plant. We thought it was just some regular fire so we walked back home. And the next story u know. The evacuation part at 2:00 pm. There were all kinds of military vehicles spraying water everywhere in the town and the famous evacuation aanuouncement was blasted through all of the speakers of Pripyat. The soldiers informed us to take our clothes and all necessary luggage. They even told us that we would be back there in 3 days. Btw does anyone know that the amusement park was to open on 1st May for the upcoming mayday holidays. But alas, this incident took place just 6 days prior to the opening, on 25th April. To distract the residents of Pripyat from this incident, the park was opened on 25th April. As everyone knows, the evacuation began on 26th April. So if u see, the park was never actually opened. Just one day before the evacuation, some people got the experience of the amusement park.
No wonder
Radiation effect will go after 100 years that's what I remember
What about 50 000 years
@@ArezinaM 50,000 years is where radiation is noe non-existent, along with the old infrastructure. So its about a century and a half for it to be safe to live but for farming, not sure.
OMG I cant even explain the sadness that's lingering around me :(
The Bhopal disaster or Bhopal gas tragedy was even more disastrous which was a chemical accident in 1984 in India. It is considered the world's worst industrial incident ever happened in humankind in which over 500,000 people in the small towns around the plant were exposed to the highly toxic gas methyl isocyanate.

Hi! What drone was used in capturing this amazing footage?
Imagine how cool (but dangerous) it would be exploring Chernobyl. Of course it would be depressing and sad to think about that 50 thousand people lived in what is a ghost town today, but seeing how nature reclaimed itself would be truly beautiful.
am I the only one who's crying looking at this video? and thinking that this is still a wonderful city..
A dystopian view of a city, this is pretty much what nature does when mans hands of time stand still.
We do not own earth by putting a fence round it or building a nuclear power station . More over spiritual the land owns us for a passage in time, as it will be there long after our footprints in the sand fade ...
We see ourselves as caretakers of the planet, yet the reverse is true the mother earth giveth and taketh away, we are mere moments of time and memory carried forward by our children .
Nature and earth, reclaims all from whence we came, as we are all children of the stars, elementally forged in a supernova... Phil Proffitt
And it will remain abandoned for another 20,000 years.
50000 people used to live here now it is a ghost town
Feel l like I've been to this place before. The creators of the Stalker series of games for PC did an amazing job modeling this place.
I was hoping to find someone else thinking the same. I played the three games and every footage from Pripyat or Chernobyl I've found here and there is like "hey i have been there. Shooting at monsters, looting, and drinking vodka by the campfire with other stalkers. Really impressive the accuracy of what they achieved on Stalker series.

were the ones making chernobyl creepy; the abandoned buildings is makes it creepiest and humans made that city
@Winslow Wilson cringe
No, we're not the ones making it creepy, the reactor exploded on accident, the buildings are "creepy" because they were made around the 60's, people had to evacuate because if not, they would die, people cant reconstruct these buildings because there's still a dangerous amount of radiation that makes the city inhabitable, these buildings are 50+ years old, my man!
