      @ChrisMMaster0 3 роки тому +4

      @φωτης παπαγιαννης That's because they put feeling into the words every time they are said, they also don't mindlessly repeat the phrase throughout the song. They do that with Steam Machine and Robot Rock, but Steam Machine has a nice beat and they do some mixing at a point in the song and Robot Rock has a sick beat which is catchy.

      +chris hadley Well. Ok. :) When I was younger, a bit more depressed and lost and thought I won't find anyone in my life to love I did listen to this song and dreamed about the good life... A girl that I would love, a thing that I would be passionate about doing and just generally, feeling loved and being happy. Watching sunsets and all that stuff.. I am being now a bit sarcastic because that is how the UA-cam comment section apparently works. Anyway, I kept listening to this song. It gave me hope to find beauty. Later, it disappeared. I didn't hear this song for about 2 or 3 years. But once I have found my best friend, a girl whom I am getting married to next month and started to build a life that I've always wanted to have I have found this song again on UA-cam (after listening to Daft Punk's Touch), I just felt happy and at peace. My dream came true. So If I say that this song saved my life, it is true to me. And maybe just only me.

      Human After All is an excellent album (Robot Rock is pretty iconic and The Prime Time Of Your Life is pretty solid too). Although i prefer Discovery (my favorite Daft Punk album), i must say some tracks (like this one) can corner Random Access Memories (Giorgio By Moroder gets old quickly and so did Get Lucky)

      Human after all: Sets the tone of the whole album, we’re all humans and we make mistakes.
      The Prime time of your life: Live it up, make life how you want it to be.
      Robot rock: Connects to Prime Time Of Your Life in that it’s about living life to the fullest and partying like a machine or robot.
      Steam Machine: Don’t have anything for this one.
      Make love: The meaning of the song is in the title, be kind to others, everyone is equal.
      The Brain Washer: Make love hypnotizes you, as it will if you listen to it. Make love will make you repeat yourself if your writing a paper or doing homework.
      On/Off: Connects to Television.
      Television Rules The Nation:
      People are spending their lives in front of tv screens across the nation, they bow down to them.
      Technologic: People are wasteful, and unappreciative of technology, the buy something new, use it, and get rid of it soon after. People are always looking for something new.
      Emotion: Connects to “Human After All.”
      We are all humans, and emotion is what makes us human.

    That's true, I think Make Love is the most different song from Human After All. While all the other songs are heavy, with steampunk elements and another alternative heavy metal, Make Love is the lull of the album, a song to listen to when you're tired and you just want to sleep or when .... you really want to make love. But this song has a lot of RAM elements or RAM has a lot of elements of that song, because it pulls on a more disc side.

    You're listening to Make Love by Daft Punk, probably one of the best songs I've heard of the duo. The cool thing about this song is the main piano melody just keep going and entering your head, it's some sound that we didn't heard often since Homework and introducing it in HAA is probably one of the best things ever.
    This song is too beautiful for me, too much that I actually cry hearing it. My dad made me discover Daft Punk when I was 4 years old with Random Access Memories. Now I'm 14 years old and still listening to the same song again and again, thinking about the old memories. ALRIGHT IM CRYING NOW LMAO
    This song is legitimately the best one of Daft's career.

  • @oliviergarcia8633
    @oliviergarcia8633 7 років тому +152

    Ce morceau c'est une bulle d'oxygène, d'amour et de lumière au milieu d'un album qui tend vers un coté anxiogène et oppressant. Ce morceau te rappelle que même si tout va à deux milles à l'heure autour de toi et que ton corps et ton esprit sont en permanence agressés par autrui, par la télé, par les technologies, de temps en temps il y a des bulles d'oxygène qui font du bien... Faut rester optimiste car quoi qu'il arrive ça se terminera avec de vraies émotions dans un déluge de soleil (morceau n°10 de l'album - Emotion).
    Une petite précision sur ce morceau mais je me rappelle encore de la première écoute de Human after all. Ces 4 premiers morceaux complètement robotiques et sombres et soudain ce moment de pur apesanteur, de pur magie. Ce morceau pris seul est magnifique, mais sa puissance émotionnelle est décuplée quand tu le replace dans son contexte, au milieu de cette album.
    Les Daft réveillez-vous et sortez nous un nouvel album !

      Isso é verdade, eu acho que Make Love é a música mais diferentona do Human After All. Enquanto todas as outras músicas são pesadas, com elementos steampunks e mais um heavy metal alternativo, Make Love é a calmaria do álbum, uma música pra se ouvir quando se está cansado e você só quer dormir ou quando....você quer realmente fazer amor. Mas essa música tem muitos elementos do RAM ou o RAM tem muitos elementos dessa música,por ela puxar por um lado mais disco.
