Dude, you are sick. I would like to give you a hug right now. The only flaw is that this vídeo should come out in 2019😅. Awesome video. Have a wonderful week.
So happy to see a piano on there... Every video I'm coming across is for bands / drums / vocals / midi etc... As an acoustic pianist, I'm pretty clueless as to even what DAW would be best, let alone what to do with the EQ once I download one. 🤔
That looked so easy, ha,ha, nice job! I still struggle with the visual part of eq plugins, even though I know it's wrong, we seem to see it and go, no way, I can't boost that much! or opposite, thanks!
dang this made it quite clear. . I have 8 tracks in one song that Im trying to EQ ,its one file in adacity, but 8 tracks. (2 trks are just etc small parts fixes ) But 6 fulll instrument tracks ..... I will keep this in mind when I use the EQ on audacity
Sorry for asking this question because I'm beginner, I'm wondering, we have instruments in the Daw and we have instruments recorded in the studio, do both require the same equalization, that is, the sound of Daw instruments is already equalized or it is raw, like the sound recorded in the studio.???
what are your thoughts on clip to zero method? you prob know but if you don't it's clipping each track individually so there's little to nothing to clip/limit at the end (master). so curious to hear your thoughts
Now I just need a company to make an EQ int the manner he was showing the freq. ranges lol Literally blocked off into sections. Would make EQ-ing so much more helpful at least for me when using Parametrics. Also, with footnotes describing what the ranges do: power, warmth, etc. Just as he described in the video.
I don't actually think that course was made seriously. Like, who would watch 9 HOURS of EQ lessons. You wouldn't memorize even half of the information given to you because 9 hours is TOO much 💀

Man, that was so helpful. We need more videos in 5 minutes like this !! Loved it !
my mixing improved by just watching your videos so much so that my songs are plying on the radio now!
the dramatic changing of kick sound freaks me out, amazing !!!!
This is sweet, I’d love to see one on saturation eventually
Thanks, nice little overview. A similar EQ video about EQ-ing rhythm and lead/solo guitars would be great. Great content as always.
I'm glad to see that you're using an EQ that is precise and has a visualizer now. Much more helpful!
only for the purpose of video! I don't use this when I'm actually mixing
Fantastic Video. Are you able to do a 5min on Compression also?

Jordan is truly awesome

Love your videos and they’ve been helping me with my mixes. That cheat sheet is gold! Would love a video like this on Reverb/Delay + Compression 🙏🏾

I’ve been mixing for over 5 years now and this was the best, most practical explanation of EQ I have ever seen
Hi, thanks for the mixcheat pdf. Your videos lessons are simplified and workable.
this is the best explanation of EQ that I have come across!! nice work and thanks bro👍👍

Amazing video! What's the song playing whilst you show the different EQ bands? Really liked it
so useful and practical! for sure one of the best out there!
Thanks for sharing!
That was fast and to the point .. Great Job
Great explainer!
to be fair, 30-50Hz is pretty valuable in dance music, especially when it comes to clubs & huge sub woofers. but in metal & pop punk & stuff, i agree.
This is so helpful 🔥🙌
Once you've applied eq on individual tracks what should happen for eq in the mastering?
Very helpful!! Thank you!
Thanks for this overview brother! Do you take suggestions for topics?
Man, thank you as always, very useful.
By the way, what's the name of the first song with female vocals? That one is a banger!

Sounds like classic Paramore to me, which is good!

The kick drum made me audibly say "Wow!"
Love it!
Great Video:)
So how does one mix 9-string super distorted rhythm guitars? Lol I'm using the Neural DSP Archetype Rabea lead amp and cab.
What is the name of the song used?
Yeah, I'll watch this quite a few times I think.
Hey I think I know the girl singing on this song! Is it Robin?
What's the artist/song name you used in the first half of the vid?
Yes!!!! I need to know!!!
The afterglow by goodbye sky harbor
@@jonathanstubbsguitar5340Thanks!

Thank you so much bro you don’t even understand… well, maybe you do but still. Thanks anyway! 🫡🔥‼️
I’m watching this on an iphone and headphones and the frequency range examples aren’t really changing anything. 😅 I wonder what’s going on.
What song is this dude?

Yeah bb!
I feel like this is in response to the 7 hour video on EQ another UA-cam channel put out 😂
9.5 hours! ua-cam.com/video/sHR7R-TY7NE/v-deo.html - And different purposes - this is a taster/brief overview of EQ, the other is an in-depth course.

@@jonathanfleck5419 Thanks for that link!!
I'm still studying. But the song with a female voice is very good. What band and song?
From Russia. Make music, not war.
My short attention span approves.
You rile
Also rule
Hunderds.
