I get nostalgic by watching this catalog. Not only because of the sentiment at how much Pandora has change now but also because I wish I could have bought and afford to get more charms from that era. The pictures tells everything. The elegancy of those design is breathtaking. The amount of intricate details that every charm had is amazing. I also miss Pandora doing more stand alone charms, particularly of characters or miniature version of real life objects. Thank you for sharing dear Leanne!
Yes, I completely agree. I'm fortunate to have tracked quite alot down preloved over the years. It's a shame your preloved market is not so good or reliable. Have a wonderful weekend 🐣.
I really loved the chance to see the old charms and prices. I have purchased a lot of them pre-loved and I am surprised at the original prices; any of them with CZ’s really had a premium price…I’m sure there was a reason, perhaps the additional work to set them? Also as this catalog was from 2008, it makes me think of the US economy in that year and how surely a lot of people just didn’t have the disposable income to purchase much. It’s so nice to be able to purchase these old charms especially when they are in very good condition.
Just remember these are Australian prices. But there's a reason alot of us are tracking pieces down now. I never realised back then that Pandora money is not the same as anything else I have to purchase or pay for. Oops 😬. Oh that's my problem haha! I'm thinking cz's were a newer concept and harder to make back then? Natural stones were used alot more.
Thank you so much for sharing Leanne! I started my Pandora journey in 2009 so a lot of these charms felt like familiar old friends, like looking back at old school yearbooks 😂 I will be coming back to this video to look up some of the older charms as I come across them. The hunt is always on!
I like the thought of that!! Interesting. I'm so glad it will be helpful to you. We have alot of old catalogues between my daughter and me. They are a huge part of collecting. I'm hoping to get alot more up. Take care. 🌞
So crazy that i bought pre-loved charm that I found in this catalogue, I didn’t think that they were so old😅😅 How works the Pandora club in your country? Where i live (Italy) we get a free charm (the ones of 19€) if we collect six points, every point is given after a purchase of at least 19€. It’s always so interesting to watch your videos❤❤
Hi Alice, I'm glad my videos are helpful to you. Alot of the older charms stayed in production for alot longer then current Pandora. The oldest pieces are stamped 925 Ale rather than S 925 Ale. So sometimes older charms started with one stamp and changed to the other. We don't have anything like that. We have 15% off for our birthday month (one transaction only) and 15% off over a 3 month period (1 transaction only) for our join up club anniversary. And early access to sales and promotions. Take care. 🌞
thank you for sharing this catalogue! i purchased my first pandora bracelet in a pandora store in 2009 & it has the crown on the clasp. however, i recently purchased a preloved oxidized bracelet & it doesn’t have the crown on the clasp, which i have heard that is true for very old bracelets (not sure of the year they changed this). the seller had a couple other very old pandora pieces & seems trustworthy. my concern though, is that the clasp is slightly smaller than my other bracelet clasps. i’m wondering if when they changed the clasp from no crown to adding the crown, if they also made the clasp a bit larger. if anyone has any thoughts on this, please let me know as i’m questioning the authenticity. thank you!
Hi, yes the old bracelet clasp was a very different size and shape. A fair bit smaller and more barrel shape. I have one original bracelet and the clasp is still very strong. I can't wear it though as it's too large for me. Those bracelets used to stretch more than the newer ones. Also often pull out arm hair more when underfilled. Great quality though. Hope this helps. Take care.
@@mad4pandora804that’s exactly how mine is- and the clasp is nice & firm still, too. very relieved, because i couldn’t find this info online. thank you so much! ✨✨
