Aquarius rising here and I feel like an emotional mess, a walking bad luck, and full of anxiety and uncertainty right now. Maybe I truly am being humbled in this time emotionally. Badass Alien + Sexy Leo Rising Late Oct I went to France (on inspiration), on the way there I meditated on my purpose, questioning if it was for the woman I had met on my last trip. I got a hard no and strong feeling there was someone else and in my mind I saw the image of a woman with dark long hair. First day of the trip things blew up with the girl I went to see which opened up insight into some childhood mother wounds. Based on that event and a series of other things that kept occurring, I ended up completely changing my trip and crossed paths with a woman with long dark hair at a train station. When I saw her, I felt an instant pull toward her, but I told myself I would only go and talk to her if she ended up on the same train as me. When the train platform was announced, we both started walking the same direction. Turns out not only would we be on the same train, but the same carriage, and both in the upper level and only a couple rows apart.. we had a great conversation, but we weren’t able to spend time together while I was there, so I let it go until late December when I felt inspired to contact her. Today foot the first time we both admitted feelings and curiosity for one another, but not knowing what to do because of circumstance. Anyway, long story short it feels like a fated new beginning that I’m excited to watch unfold. Also, Taurus sun and tons of things are happening in my career and finding my purpose going forward. ♒ rising - yes spot on. I've been trying to get something in entrepreneurship going for myself and to do that I've been confronting my fear of being seen (I have Chiron in Cancer, 5th house). Right now, the transits that are greatly impacting me are transiting saturn opposite my natal Moon in Virgo (exact today at 17 degrees), Pluto conjunct my natal Saturn in the 12th and opposite my natal Jupiter in Leo and of course retograde Mars which is trining my natal Pluto in the 10th. With the Saturn opposite my Moon - today I woke up and felt worthless and that I wondered if anyone would ever truly see me. I remember thinking that my aura wreaked of a bitter Projector energy (Human Design stuff). I know things will get better and I'm so glad to be able to look at my chart and make sense of why I felt so intensely today.

Something to consider on your topic of the ancient rulers. We were in a darker period of consciousness, more material… beginning of Kali Yuga, which is why I don’t resonate with ancient astrology as much because it’s more of a material science, good vs bad, a lot of duality. Ego based astrology vs soul. Now that our consciousness has risen a little the modern rulers make a lot more sense. A denser, darker era means there’s less access to full truth or light. Uranus / Aquarius also means individuation (see Carl Yung). you saw a lot of this in 2020 as you suggested where people were awakening to objective truth & having massive spiritual awakenings, realizing we are ONE spiritually vs in the material which allowed many to Separate from the herd/group think & individuate. Not something they were doing in the ancient times much when belonging to a tribe meant life or death. Highly rec Uranus & Pluto books by Jeffrey Wolf Green.
@@thecosmicsage_earth thanks for the conversation! I definitely get what you’re saying but technically we’re still in the beginning of the Kali Yuga/dark age according to that respective calendar. I also see way more Saturn over the last several years since 2020 of isolation, social distancing, more division in the world and the same “join this group/cause or be exiled as a xyz (some derogatory label)”. It’s been pretty heated. It really changed my perspective completely to Aquarius being Saturn ruled lol. I think the Pisces transits over the last few years has assisted more in the awakenings we’ve had and awakening isn’t always a light process, it’s a lot about becoming aware of the dark. I still notice with the sun being my chart ruler, that this time of year I lack my usual vitality and sense of self and it feels a bit more Saturnian, cold & distant every time which correlates to why the sun is in detriment here. And just to be clear, I’m not against evolutionary/modern astrology, just more so explaining the foundations and that there’s a reason this worked for thousands of years. There’s still duality in everything. It doesn’t make it a bad thing. There’s even transcendence from duality that we find in Pisces for instance & the embracing of duality that we find in Gemini and mutable signs. I just admire and respect the perfection of the traditional astrological system. We live in a world of duality, it’s not about escaping it, that’s still duality (separation), it’s more about working with it & embracing it I’ve personally found. With the modern rulers it also doesn’t make sense with traditional Hellenistic techniques like the chart ruler. If you use Uranus as the ruler of Aquarius, Uranus takes about a decade to go through each sign so a whole decade of aquarians have their chart ruler in the same sign. They are outer planets therefore not as close to us/personal which is why they tend to affect bigger topics like culture, eras etc. I appreciate your response, I started with modern rulerships and modern astrology, once I learned the foundations, it was an awakening in itself. Yes I believe astrology can evolve with time and mars rules more than just war and the 6th house rules more than just servants now. But I still respect & choose to use the traditional system & have found more accuracy with that. As I know others have with the modern system lol. 💜🫶🏼

So I can understand what it’s like to have the duality of opposite signs in your big 3, but geez. I understand myself to be empathetic and understanding, I can see why people see Aquarius as cold and detached, especially when approached with a problem, I’m more likely to address the issue to protect their hearts. It’s essentially like the masculine and feminine. In order to have the flow and freedom, it must be in a protected space. Which are the boundaries, the cold until warm. As an Aquarius I’m more likely to observe before I interact vs a Leo just being themselves and creating the vibe. But I get it. We show what we feel is comfortable to show, they show everything unapologetically. We don’t take up too much space, and they will take up all of it. But realistically how can everyone interact if one person is overbearing. There should be boundaries, there should be reigns to weave it in the collective. With my moon in Aquarius, Saturn & descendant I already see the social division collectively rising & those seem to be the aquarian themes I notice collectively on a bigger scale. I don’t think those things about Aquarius Sun individuals or Aqua risings. I have good friends that are Aquarius suns or risings and we get along beautifully and they aren’t the way I described Aquarius collectively at all. But this is also why we have many more things in our charts. It’s not that aquarians don’t have personality, everyone has a first house. ♒ rising - yes spot on. I've been trying to get something in entrepreneurship going for myself and to do that I've been confronting my fear of being seen (I have Chiron in Cancer, 5th house). Right now, the transits that are greatly impacting me are transiting saturn opposite my natal Moon in Virgo (exact today at 17 degrees), Pluto conjunct my natal Saturn in the 12th and opposite my natal Jupiter in Leo and of course retograde Mars which is trining my natal Pluto in the 10th.
With the Saturn opposite my Moon - today I woke up and felt worthless and that I wondered if anyone would ever truly see me. I remember thinking that my aura wreaked of a bitter Projector energy (Human Design stuff). I know things will get better and I'm so glad to be able to look at my chart and make sense of why I felt so intensely today.

This new moon is conjunct my ascendant and this mercury/pluto conjunction is conjunct my north node. I feel a great deal of hard-earned serenity. Pluto’s transit of my 12th conjuncted my natal Uranus, neptune, and saturn which corresponded with severe mental illness/mania/psychosis. The pluto/saturn conjunction of 2020 was conjunct my natal saturn and during that time (my saturn return) I got sober and have since graduated from law school and am taking the bar exam. So right now feeling a sense of having ascended above severe difficulties and unconsciousness.

One influence which might be more noticed in a whole sign chart is Capricorn element as coruler of new moon in Aquarius. Adding Pluto, also affected by social and gov. issues, we are seeing new crackdowns on government expenses today, partly as a solution to help reduce never ending inflation. Budget cuts certainly adds to darker feel today that you accurately noted as Capricorn's difficult but needed restrictions enter, IMO

Something to consider on your topic of the ancient rulers. We were in a darker period of consciousness, more material… beginning of Kali Yuga, which is why I don’t resonate with ancient astrology as much because it’s more of a material science, good vs bad, a lot of duality. Ego based astrology vs soul.
Now that our consciousness has risen a little the modern rulers make a lot more sense. A denser, darker era means there’s less access to full truth or light.
Uranus / Aquarius also means individuation (see Carl Yung). you saw a lot of this in 2020 as you suggested where people were awakening to objective truth & having massive spiritual awakenings, realizing we are ONE spiritually vs in the material which allowed many to Separate from the herd/group think & individuate. Not something they were doing in the ancient times much when belonging to a tribe meant life or death.

I also see way more Saturn over the last several years since 2020 of isolation, social distancing, more division in the world and the same “join this group/cause or be exiled as a xyz (some derogatory label)”. It’s been pretty heated. It really changed my perspective completely to Aquarius being Saturn ruled lol.
I think the Pisces transits over the last few years has assisted more in the awakenings we’ve had and awakening isn’t always a light process, it’s a lot about becoming aware of the dark. I still notice with the sun being my chart ruler, that this time of year I lack my usual vitality and sense of self and it feels a bit more Saturnian, cold & distant every time which correlates to why the sun is in detriment here.
And just to be clear, I’m not against evolutionary/modern astrology, just more so explaining the foundations and that there’s a reason this worked for thousands of years.
There’s still duality in everything. It doesn’t make it a bad thing. There’s even transcendence from duality that we find in Pisces for instance & the embracing of duality that we find in Gemini and mutable signs.
I just admire and respect the perfection of the traditional astrological system. We live in a world of duality, it’s not about escaping it, that’s still duality (separation), it’s more about working with it & embracing it I’ve personally found. With the modern rulers it also doesn’t make sense with traditional Hellenistic techniques like the chart ruler. If you use Uranus as the ruler of Aquarius, Uranus takes about a decade to go through each sign so a whole decade of aquarians have their chart ruler in the same sign. They are outer planets therefore not as close to us/personal which is why they tend to affect bigger topics like culture, eras etc.
I appreciate your response, I started with modern rulerships and modern astrology, once I learned the foundations, it was an awakening in itself. Yes I believe astrology can evolve with time and mars rules more than just war and the 6th house rules more than just servants now. But I still respect & choose to use the traditional system & have found more accuracy with that.

maybe it’s mars in cancer rx, but it’s sad to hear what you think of Aquarius. logically it connects in context with your belief of Saturn being the true ruler of Aquarius and the placement of it being farthest from the sun with the naked eye, but being compared to AI with no human warmth or personality is infuriating. (I’ll let this be a rant space, but it’s not an attack) I’m an Aquarius sun with a Gemini rising. And a Sagittarius moon. So I can understand what it’s like to have the duality of opposite signs in your big 3, but geez. I understand myself to be empathetic and understanding, I can see why people see Aquarius as cold and detached, especially when approached with a problem, I’m more likely to address the issue to protect their hearts. It’s essentially like the masculine and feminine. In order to have the flow and freedom, it must be in a protected space. Which are the boundaries, the cold until warm. As an Aquarius I’m more likely to observe before I interact vs a Leo just being themselves and creating the vibe. But I get it. We show what we feel is comfortable to show, they show everything unapologetically. We don’t take up too much space, and they will take up all of it. But realistically how can everyone interact if one person is overbearing. There should be boundaries, there should be reigns to weave it in the collective. Which I guess is why Aquarius is more standoffish because we’re waiting our turn while everyone just takes over. But then we get shy at our turn out of lack of practice in the spotlight lol. I prefer to show myself and let that be rather than showing myself to the world and be criticized and projected on. Cause we DO have personalities, it’s just near to our hearts. We must see that you’re willing to subdue yours to welcome ours. So i guess its strict over here lol, but it takes time to get warm. So id say rather than a freakin ROBOT, Aquarians are like getting inside a cold car in the morning and immediately trying to pull off. @@jasmynebrown4666 I 100% agree with this and I didn’t mean it to come off that I was talking about Aquarius individuals and tried to make that known a few times (I think lol) in the video that this wasn’t about aquarians as individuals, more so what we see in Aquarius season and Aquarius transits lol. With my moon in Aquarius, Saturn & descendant I already see the social division collectively rising & those seem to be the aquarian themes I notice collectively on a bigger scale. I don’t think those things about Aquarius Sun individuals or Aqua risings. I have good friends that are Aquarius suns or risings and we get along beautifully and they aren’t the way I described Aquarius collectively at all. But this is also why we have many more things in our charts. It’s not that aquarians don’t have personality, everyone has a first house. It’s more so the collective tensions the Leo Aquarius axis brings up and we’ve had more heavy Aqua transits than we have Leo.
Hopefully that sheds some more light love. Didn’t mean any negativity towards Aquarian people. I have Aquarian parts of myself lol. 🫶🏼
