I miss you Alan, every single day. This interview broke my heart, knowing you're not here now. The world is emptier without you. You bring the light and love and best things to us. The way you answer, the way you tell a story, it's adorable, it's incredibly brilliant. I miss you, miss your voice, your smile. Stay well up there my dearest.
Deeply fascinating and intelligent man who was taken away too soon. Having found out that his dad also died from cancer is so terribly sad. Alan was a superb actor with lots left to give. 💚 cancer is vile, I hope one day someone discovers a cure for it.
My family: why do you like this guy hes dead Me:I may just found out about him that doesn't mean it doesn't hurt the same. I may just started to love his work after 5 years of his death but ill keep his legacy alive along with everyone else. "Always"
I gave this movie A Little Chaos to my niece who went to France for a week. We need more movies like this! Before Alan died, I didn't pay attention to him. I saw a few things with him, and didn't notice him. Odd how now that he is gone, I am paying attention to him.
I loved that he used a beautiful woman who is gracefully aging and showed her for her complete worth. He reinforced this with comments about aging, the blown rose and the death of the Queen shown in a loving light.
she does talk a lot but for someone like me who has little knowledge about alan rickman's body of work outside of his mainstream hits, it portrays a truly rounded character. i cant imagine alan rickman speaking similarly about himself so i am glad someone else can speak about his many accolades
One of the funny things about the Rev. Obadiah Slope in Barchester Chronicles is the way he turns his feet out as he walks. He was a creep a very sensual and sexually repressed creep. He acted that part brilliantly. I was so glad that he was chosen for Snape.
@@All-lives-matter-2024 Sorry, I didn’t see your question until today. It was great. I had already seen him twice in “Seminar” on Broadway before this and managed to get his autograph. He was very nice to us, taking the time to sign everyone’s Playbill and talk to people. He was very handsome in person with a really regal bearing. I would have tried to meet him here too but, unfortunately, I had to catch a ride home.
@@MsAppassionata So strange to realise that we will never see him again. Or, perhaps, we will one day in some other way?.. You are very happy to have seen him. Sometimes we don't realise how incredible some people around us are. And that the time has its limits.
Such a sweetheart ❤ Alan Rickman ✨ Rest easy. The world is never the same without him! Considering the innumerable works he should've been part of, if he was here with us, this is so unfair to lose him too soon 💔
lol hard to belive he was severous snape from Harry Potter, he does look a little less imposing without the black hair and makeup but still, has the face of a reflective, and take no bull kind of guy who is slighty stern looking.
He was excellent as the sheriff of notingham. Oh, shucks, he breathed life into all roles in his undertaking from acting to directing. So glad to have had him on the planet during my lifetime. A fine gentleman, friend, actor, director, encourager to all. ❤✌️⭐️⭐️
Having moved to France, I must say that they do seriously need chaos. It is bizarre how much creativity and expression are stifled in this country. (A good example is that small children in the écoles maternal are actually corrected if they choose the "wrong" color or go outside of the lines.) It often seems as though practically every French citizen has been made by an uptight, conservative cookie cutter. They are incredibly rigid, conformist, and they all dress and have practically the same ubiquitous and very short haircut, among many other things. The gardens of Versailles are an excellent example of the French. (But, Vivre la France, as their healthcare system is magnificent.) Rest in blessed peace, dear Mr. Rickman.
Really? I always thought the French were a lot more laid-back. Then again, I can only go by my experience in Paris when I went there on holiday some years ago. There was lots of creativity, particularly in places like the Pompidou Centre, and there was a big gathering of people near the River Seine who were dancing and singing. Then again, I guess it's probably different depending on whereabouts in France you are. Either way, the film "A Little Chaos" is a lovely piece, and Rickman outdid himself once again :)

"Feminism: you have a more interesting life if things are equal" shout it from the rooftops! He was brilliant and humble and appreciative and dedicated. ❤
@@sheilamcdaid6608 It’s obvious, from both your impatience and your ignorance, that neither of you know who Annette Insdorf is, or have bothered to educate yourself, before making inane comments. All I can say is, aren’t we lucky you weren’t in the audience with us.
The interviewer was speaking so much ...which I found very annoying ...you can clearly say that Alan was not enjoying the interview like he always did ...rip dear
How can you clearly say that Alan was not enjoying the interview. Are you a clairvoyant? Clearly, you did not know him very well because he did not like interviews where they asked. Simple, albeit repetitive questions. He often said that it irked him. Quite frankly, I would rather someone comment on something factual, rather than give us their subjective view on things… Especially from a nobody like you who claims to be, knowall.
He's adorable.
right after 41:00 that part about the stitching and then he giggles. so cute!
What a wonderful human being he was. I still can’t believe he’s gone.
me too😢❤
Never a dull moment with this man.

V8, b,
Beautifully said; it is tragic that this renaissance man is no longer here
Absolutely in love 💔
I swear, I miss this man as if I knew him. RIP
A wonderful interview...he had so much depth...and so very kind.
We miss you Alan
He was so humble me made sure everyone got recognition
HE WAS BRILLIANT. I CANNOT IMAGINE HAVING BEEN CLOSE TO HIM & STILL NOT FEEL SUCH GREAT LOSS TODAY. HE WAS MORE HANDSOME WITH AGE. R.I.P. MR RICKMAN.
I fell in love with his role in Sense and Sensibility. He seems like a really nice man outside of his roles. I didn't know he passed away.
While I loved his acting in other roles, especially Die Hard, I really began to have a crush on him after seeing S&S. What a wonderful portrayal.

I was there. My only problem was that the interviewer liked to hear herself talk. Sometimes, I just wanted her to shut up and get to the question.
How lucky you are

So smart -- discipline and freedom are two sides of one coin.
This was such a wonderful interview. I was very thrilled to be there!

I didn't even get a chance to meet the guy :(
He is as handsome here as he was when he played the preacher in the Bartleby Chronicles.
