In the dynamic analysis (mode superposition), how can I consider certain modes (ex) shell structure dynamic response excepting shell beam mode that means only shell modes)) please check following ideas 1. When performing mode analysis, mode analysis is performed except for the frequency range of the beam mode. And then msup analysis is performed 2. Modal analysis is performed for all frequency range, and then except beam mode using numexp (the frequency range excepting beam mode) Are both methods valid? Consequently, to get dynamic responses in a pure shell modes, what can I do? thanks a lot^^

Thanks for the Video. How can I set a boundary condition for a beam that is assumed to be free at both ends (free-free) using Ansys workbench
